    Mahomes would have walked into a terrible situation in Buffalo. There was no guarantee things would have turn out the same. Pairing him with Reid who is one of the best offensive minds in the business. In addition, surrounding him with a playoff caliber team made the transition easy for Mahomes.

    Fixing both running the ball and stopping the run should be the focus on both sides during the Bye.

    Hoping the defense can make the necessary adjustments coming out of the bye designed at stopping the run and get some players back healthy. I think if McDermott can fix the defense the offense will be good enough to get us wins come playoff time.

    One positive is that Allen has owned the Dolphins his whole career. Tua has given them some juice but Flores got that defense making plays and scoring on turnovers. That is how they have been winning games during this stretch. Will see how long that is sustainable and if Tua can carry them while he works to get situated.

    Problem with this team they lack the killer instinct to put teams away. Too many times they let teams back in the game and it cost them here. Plenty of blame to go all around.

    I can't put poor tackling on the coaches with all the rules regarding practice and player safety nowadays. Team plays soft and it shows on the field.

    Hard to pin blame on 1 player in a bad defense. Cowboys are bad all around. No harm is bringing him and seeing if he can help. Not like our secondary has been great themselves this year. If we can find an upgrade over Taron I am all for it.

    He hasn’t really lit it up in terms of stats although he has played well. However, having legitimate threats around him doesn’t hurt. Much more difficult to play on the offensive and defensive line for a rookie coming out.
