I don't think that at all. Kyle hardly played this season due to injury. With him gone, the Bills were forced to run more 3-4 with Dareus at nose. The defense was supposed to be multiple. Some 3-4, some 4-3 and variations of both. Kyle was a key piece and we missed him this year. Not having him, made our defense much more predictable. That doesn't mean Kyle won't be gone next year though. He isn't getting any younger and I see him much the way I saw Fed Jackson....a great player who is on the down hill side of his career. The Bills may try to find his replacement because of that. This team obviously is productive in a base 4-3 so overhauling now and trying to go 3-4 could be a mistake. We don't want to do away with 4-3 or 3-4. We want to run both.

That would be cool. One of the greatest safeties in history.

I'm really surprised this thread is not up there in # of posts along with QB. We are pretty certain Mario is going to be history and Kyle, like Fred isn't getting any younger. Going to need some beef on the DLine this year. I'd like to see two quality players on the line somehow this off season.

I didn't like him at the beginning of the year. My thoughts were....too skinny....and skinny QBs that run a lot are going to get killed. But throughout the season, he has shown some toughness. He has also impressed with things like completion percentage and the ability to avoid big mistakes. Some of the things he has done this year were down right incredible. He grew on me and I think he has a better than 50% chance of becoming a franchise QB. Judging from the way he was able to click with Sammy the last half of this season, I think things are looking up. Get our other receivers healthy and continue rushing successfully and this team is going places.....at least offensively. It's the defense that has me worried.

That's an interesting part of it. NE is Buffalo's biggest problem and Rob knows the team pretty intimately. But man this team has a lot of great coaches at every level. There'll be some interesting coach meetings I'd like to listen in on. I look back at when I was younger and remember how sibling rivalry can interfere with working together, but these guys are old/wise enough now to put that stuff behind them. I have a hunch that these two brothers will be putting in some long hours to come up with some great game plans.

Gutted out the season and still got 500+ yds. Sounds like he was just healthy enough to think he could still be a factor. Tough call sometimes, deciding if you should play or sit. I see some comments regarding the decision, but it doesn't sound like one that is as clear as black and white.

I heard Marone to New Orleans, today. Don't know if there is any truth to it.

Full scale mutiny? Seriously? Yes the defense laid an egg this year, but this is utter speculation and likely way off base. New coach and scheme and they are supposed to just miraculously be top 10? The players have obviously been struggling but mutiny is a huge leap.

I'd be more concerned about preventing blocked punts and giving the punter time to get it off.

Going to see safety help against Sammy this week. The one on one matchups will be to Woods and Hogan deep.

Keep in mind that this is TT's 1st year as a starter. I think the philosophy of going with a ground and pound attack and sprinkling in some shots down field is a good one. The are not a lot of route combinations because we simply do not throw often and that is good for a 1st yr starting QB. TT is doing great so far. His numbers are fantastic. As time goes by though, I think Buffalo's aerial attack will become more sophisticated. Personally, I think the coaches are doing the right thing and bringing TT along at a steady pace. We are seeing an improved chemistry with Sammy. That catch in the endzone where Woods cut back to catch the TD was a well timed shot. There is a lot to like about what they are doing. We aren't done yet either. Even Hogan has looked pretty good this year. Taylor is progressing and as he does so will the passing game.

The Iggles can't score on offense. Bills can. Bills 42 Iggles 16 Time of possession heavily in Buffalos favor. Running game revs up.
