  1. While I am not a big fan of the small skill players selected, I have to disagree about your assumption that some of these guys are non impact players. Parish made one goofy play last year but the guy has consistently lead the league in returns. How many times have you seen him give us great field position? Or take one to the house? McKelvin too. This guy also has great return ability and he is no slouch as a DB. The only reason there is no impact is because our offense can't seem to capitalize on great field position. The non impact is from not getting quality offensive linemen and maybe QBs. I am not yet convinced that our quarterbacks are as bad as they seem either. The only real way to see for sure is to put some quality linemen in front of them and see.
  2. That's because he had Jason Peters watching his blind side last year.
  3. Would be a good depth pick up if the price is right. If asking too much, no thanks. I'll take my chances in the draft.
  4. Harris spent most of the season on the practice squad but performed very well when called upon in the season finale. 2 interceptions against the Colts. I think that was the only game he actually played in.
  5. Conspiracy theorist thinking. Come on people.
  6. He didn't guide the team to 4 consecutive Superbowls by being a dimwit.
  7. Kyle Williams is 6'1" tall and 306lbs. It's not like he is a shrimp. He plays with leverage? Why do you suppose that is? Not because he is stronger? You guys act as if size is everything. It's not. Kyle is a gamer and will be ready. We don't necessarily need a 350lb fat boy. Another NT, yea but if we get another 300-340 pounder in there that can also hustle like Kyle, we would be way better off. What I would like to see is another 3-4 DE as well. In case you guys weren't paying attention last year, Kyle was getting double teamed more than Marcus Stroud because he was applying more pressure. The interesting thing about the 3-4 is that the over all strength of linemen should be greater. Not the over all size. Size is over rated. Strength guys........ strength. Kyle has it.
  8. What a lot of people don't realize is that this drug test is no longer done with a urine sample like the old days. They now just cut a piece of hair and the test can detect as far back as 5 years! So if someone tests positive for smokin' weed, they may have still been in high school at the time.
  9. If Clausen isn't there you get down on your knees and thank Jesus.
  10. I didn't know surgeons performed on rockets.
  11. This board wins as most educated and most obnoxious. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
  12. The 2 guys left for O/D linemen don't measure up this early. CJ Spiller, if this is all I have to choose from. Where are the QBs?
  13. I think that we take the best nose tackle available, regardless of opinions about 3-4/4-3 defenses. We have a pretty solid NT in Kyle Williams. He can handle his job there better than people think. He was all ready taking up a lot of double teams last year because he couldn't be stopped one on one. In a 3-4 will he get tired? Yes, but that does not mean that we have to draft a 3-4 nose tackle. Another Kyle Williams would be awesome. They could spell each other and on every down they could also be a pass rush threat. Think about it. If we get a Big nose tackle and he plays on running plays and Kyle on passing, how quickly do you think the offenses will pick up on that. No way should we go after a huge 3-4 nose. We can play the 3-4 just fine with Kyle, but it would be wise to get another guy just like him in there. Besides, LT is a more pressing need.
  14. Kyle is to valuable to us. The idea is to improve the team not get rid of our best players. I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to trade one our QBs and get a better one.
  15. I'd rather trade one of our quarterbacks.
  16. I was getting that impression too.
  17. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/03/17/t...ell-at-pro-day/ Interesting.
  18. And neither has any other 2010 QB in the draft. Bad argument.
  19. Wow, he left and then agreed to terms later in the day. Just hasn't signed yet.
  20. The report said it "looked like he left without signing" and maybe he did and the got the deal done?
  21. Link According to the Baltimore Sun, Dwan has been having a tough time in free agency because teams are taking issue with his neck injury. They think he may re-sign with Baltimore after leaving Buffalo without a contract.
  22. Cool. A big nasty nose tackle and the D will look great!
  23. He's going to have to go on TV and tell everyone that he is not shopping Schobel as well. I keep running across people salivating over the notion that we might get an extra pick for trading him. Even when he himself said that he will either come back and play in Buffalo or retire, people just seem to think that means we can do whatever we want, like trade him.
