  1. Tebow?
  2. That is placing one speculation on top of another speculation. I like looking at all of the possibilities, really but everything that is coming out of the media that isn't backed up with a legitimate source such as an actual quote, you have to kind of take with a grain of salt. Not saying trading ML is not possible. It could happen I suppose but at this point, I see no reason to put much stock in one of thousands of possible scenarios. Anything could happen. We could be shopping any member of this team. When I look at ML, it just seems to me that his history of finding trouble just makes it more interesting to talk about. It's just as likely that the front office has no intention making this trade whatsoever and the media is just writing what's more interesting to talk about. None of us know for sure what is coming but I am not convinced that we will be trading a Pro Bowl RB with 3 years left on his contract. I also think he will keep his nose clean, perform well this year and be worth even more as trade bait next year, but that is just speculation on my part.
  3. Except we are not going to trade Lynch. None of the rumors concerning his trade are coming from OBD. Just a bunch of senseless speculation.
  4. Your user name explains all I need to know about the title of this post. Didn't even bother to read the thread.
  5. Laying it on kinda thick.
  6. Where in Upstate NY? I am in Potsdam.
  7. I agree that a prototypical 3-4 Nose tackle is not going to be easy to find. I have a hunch that Kyle is going to be the starter regardless and it's not like we don't have plenty of other holes to fill anyway. Just looks like we will address other needs because that is where we will find the greatest talent.
  8. My take is that with Washington picking up McNabb, with the exception of Bradford, all QBs will fall to the second round. I would not be in a hurry to grab a QB in the first round. Gamble? Yes, it is. But worth the risk. We could strengthen our offensive or defensive lines in the first round and wait on a QB. Trade down? Nope. Stick with the #9 spot and grab the best lineman available. The talent pool there is bigger and we are more likely to get quality talent there. In Round 2 we may be able to get Clausen, more likely Tebow. In my own mind though, I like Tebow better anyway. The problem I have with trading down is that even though we could get more picks, we are also less likely to get a big impact player. I am pretty confident a QB will be there in the second and the Bills will pull the trigger if Clausen or Tebow are there. After that, it's a going to be up to our teams talent evaluators to pick diamonds in the rough in the later rounds. Even if the gamble does not pay off and both targeted QBs are gone, it is not a complete loss. We still improved our lines and we can then see if our current QB depth can compete with some talent in front of them. To me, taking a QB in the first without getting depth on the lines is asking for trouble. What if the QBs are complete busts?
  9. Campbell is not an upgrade. If you want a QB get him in the draft.
  10. In every case Edwards is last. I sense a pattern here.
  11. Could be right about Tebow. Absolutely right about Bruce.
  12. You know damn well that Tebow is not going to last through the second round. You are just trying to convince people not to take him in round 2 because you really don't want him at all. Who are you trying to kid?
  13. The Bill's FO has been keeping their opinions to themselves as they should. All of the crap speculation is........well, crap.
  14. Was Tebow his QB the year he came out of college?
  15. Have you even looked at Tebow's stats? The kid has completed one hell of a lot of passes.
  16. I think Poz will be better with our defensive line getting bigger.
  17. Jim Kelly doesn't know how to backpedal. He never once said that he would be a great QB. He said that Tebow is a class act and a great guy. Where is the backpedaling? The only reason he is bothering to make a reply is because of all the hype surrounding the dinner he had with the kid.
  18. Again what purpose does it serve to fault the guy at this point? I just don't see what good can come from a post like this.
  19. I don't buy that argument at all. Listing a bunch of past failures has 0% to do with this year. You don't grade a coach on what he has yet to prove. We haven't even played a friggin' game yet. Bone headed post all together.
  20. What purpose does it serve to seek out reasons to fault the guy? I think you're reaching here just to stir up s**t here.
  21. While I am not a big fan of the small skill players selected, I have to disagree about your assumption that some of these guys are non impact players. Parish made one goofy play last year but the guy has consistently lead the league in returns. How many times have you seen him give us great field position? Or take one to the house? McKelvin too. This guy also has great return ability and he is no slouch as a DB. The only reason there is no impact is because our offense can't seem to capitalize on great field position. The non impact is from not getting quality offensive linemen and maybe QBs. I am not yet convinced that our quarterbacks are as bad as they seem either. The only real way to see for sure is to put some quality linemen in front of them and see.
  22. That's because he had Jason Peters watching his blind side last year.
  23. Would be a good depth pick up if the price is right. If asking too much, no thanks. I'll take my chances in the draft.
