I wouldn't mind that either.

Stranger things have happened.

Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU. And like Buddy said, the draft is deep at DE. We will get a quality pass rusher in the second round. In the third round, that is where they finally get a tackle. OK, maybe not, but we will not be reaching for a tackle in round one. This team went 1-1 with one of the Superbowl teams last year and nearly beat the other. The Bills will not be reaching for any player in the draft. They'll just continue to build by getting value at every pick. Once we finally kill the injury bug....look out. We might get a top rated WR if one falls in our laps. It's all about value.

You cannot fault the fans for the stadium not selling out when the team just lost seven consecutive games.
-
Against Washington, the Bills put an explanation point on the lack of a pass rush to that point. Now that the D has that taste in their mouth, you can bet that they will continue to put an emphasis on getting to the passer. Look out, Sanchez. The Jets do have a good defense and can cause some problems. Gailey has done a great job of stretching some very good defenses thin with the spread offense and then poking holes in it though. I can see a hard fought, low scoring game and I can also see a game where the Bills run away with it. Jets win though, in our house? Ain't happening. Add the shellacking that the Bills got from this team last year and you are looking at a team that is extremely motivated to take them down hard. The Jets will be dumbfounded and wondering how they are going to save their season after this game. As for the Jet offense, I am just not impressed. Bills win. Mark it down.

5th sack? When this become a part of Bills Football? -
NE doesn't have a pass rush.

Bills and Green Bay in the SB?

Nice Marcel

Things could actually play out this way. Oakland, I think is the toughest team in their division and can run on anyone. They will run and keep the ball away from Brady for long stretches. When Brady does get an opportunity, he will struggle against that defense. Jets are in for a real rough game against the Ravens with their one dimensional offense. Miami? They could possibly pull off an upset but I sure wouldn't bet on it.

WTF. Boomer predicting a Bungles upset? He knows better than that.

From start to finish, a major headache for the Bungles. 42-6 Bills

how do our DB compete against Brady?
Rockinon replied to SlamnSam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is by design. Guarantee Brady feels the heat this coming week. I really think Kyle Williams and Dareus are going to take away his comfort zone, which is stepping up into his pocket. Why? Because there won't be a pocket for him to step into. He's a pure pocket passer and that NE offensive line does have exploitable weaknesses. When we get him moving outside of his pocket, we do have LBs and DEs that can really turn up the heat for Brady. The Bills aren't going to shut him down but they can slow him down enough to allow our offense a chance to out score them. Look, the Bills no longer have anything to be afraid of. They have all ready been repeatedly shredded by Brady. The fear factor is on NE this time. They have to travel to our house, play an improved Bills offense that can really put up some points and a defensive front that is much more powerful than last year. Anyone who doesn't think this team can generate enough pressure to put Brady on his back, needs to taking enough sleeping pills to keep themselves out until 4PM next Sunday. You all know the defense has the weapons to bring it, but all you can see is Brady for Christ's sake. All of this backwards thinking, negative, moaning and groaning is making me nauseous. Brady is human just like the rest of us and he can be taken down a notch. We have a shot here. Don't spoil it with a bunch of pansy a$$ed complaining over inaccurately perceived defensive weaknesses. KC and Oakland are completely different teams compared to NE. You don't know what is going to happen next Sunday. Enjoy the wins we have and start thinking of ways to take NE DOWN!!! -
"Bills Fear Fitzpatrick's Leverage Will Only Increase"

I really dislike using the term "franchise QB" too. Can't stand it actually. Gets on my nerves. What does the guy have to do to get any more respect? Honestly, 5 consecutive drives resulting in a TD and your still not convinced? -
Still not built to beat the Pats
Rockinon replied to John Cocktosten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The description part of your thread title is a flat out lie. -
OK, I'm not agreeing with the "We have to win in shoot out fashion" nor the "we have send everyone after Brady" crowd either. The way to beat Brady is to confuse him. There is a reason the Bills run a mixture of different defensive fronts and that reason is to beat the Patriots. The thing that will pay off with our D is that we can get away with not loading the box like we had to do against the last 2 running teams. We have some big men that can get after Brady without having to send extra people on the blitz. Personally, I think NEs o-line is suspect to giving up sacks. Brady is a pure pocket passer that likes to step into his pocket. Kyle and Marcel will take that away from him. We also have some LBs that can get after him from the edge. Beating Brady is all about not letting him know when guys are going to blitz or drop into coverage. We are not going to completely shut him down, but we can definitely slow him down enough to let our offense do the rest. The game is winnable and I can guarantee that our defenders are licking their chops.

Coach Sal Dissects The Winning Touchdown

That was an awesome play. Oakland bit hard on that okey doke play. Spiller did a nice job of selling it too. -
We are currently #1 in Scoring Offense!
Rockinon replied to UWS Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That actually gives us chance against NE. Anyone here think NE has faced tougher defenses than the Bills have so far? I don't. The Bills could pull off a major upset next week. Our defense missed some opportunities today but I really think they will do some things to slow Brady down. Our offense looks great in both running and passing. NE is definitely going to have their hands full. -
Ok, I don't usually play this game but..... Last week, even though I have plenty of Bills shirts/hats etc, I was wearing none of them during the game. This week, I wore my Bills ball cap when we made a trip to Walmart before the game. When we got home, I left my hat on through the first half. I usually don't wear my hat, unless I'm going somewhere and take it off when I get home. At half time, I was just cursing away and threw my hat off in disgust. Then 5 TDs on consecutive drives. WTF. Guess I'm gonna have to stop wearing my Bills stuff during the game.

I'm going to have to man up here and give some props the Oakland Raiders. I was talking some smack before the game but I sure wasn't during the game. Was that a cliff hanger or what? That offense of theirs really surprised me, though our offense surprised me even more. I thought the defenses would rule this game on both sides of the ball, but that simply wasn't the case. The offenses on both teams really tore it up. Nice job Raiders. You are definitely going to win your division. That's not something we can say until we beat NE and the Jets. Maybe you guys can help us out with that. It was fun talking smack with you guys. Best of luck to you.

Official BILLS vs RAIDERS GAMEDAY THREAD
Rockinon replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, they haven't changed out of their pajamas yet. ByTimGraham Tim Graham Raiders buses didn't arrive to Ralph Wilson Stadium until just a few minutes ago. No word on whether they still were in their pajamas 56 minutes ago -
Here is what is going to happen when your Raider's come to Buffalo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq_kiAmHV50&feature=player_embedded

Miles? Yes, but they didn't say anything about closing the door on negotiations all together either. Fitz needs to get paid though. If the Bills go into next year without a contract for him, they are setting themselves up for a major tailspin followed by a crash and burn.
