Honestly? I hate this hack Mike Rodak
Captain Hindsight replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not really sure what you want. Should Rodak be posting a history lesson of the Bills for each post? NFL fans are asking : Will the Bills leave? So he is using the blog to answer it He is not a BILLS reporter, he is an ESPN reporter. He works for ESPN and sells ESPN stories, not BILLS stories. What story sells better for ESPN. Bills could leave with new ownership or Bills most likely staying, no real changes expected -
Players to use for trades
Captain Hindsight replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would you want to break up the best pass rush in the league and help a conference rival? Thats 14 sacks you are taking off the team. Remember when we had 26 the entire year? Don't underestimate what a good pass rush does for the rest of your defense. -
For a project in Grad School I recently worked on an independent study as a consultant on a LEED construction project to help certify a building. Because I worked on that project I can now register for the LEED AP exam. I'm trying to figure out which is the best one to register for. My friends have all done the BD+C and say that is the best one, but I'm a bit skeptical and might sign up for the Operations and Maintenance one Here are the two descriptions per the USGBC http://www.usgbc.org/leed/credentials LEED AP Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) Suits professionals with expertise in the design and construction phases of green buildings, serving the commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors. LEED AP Operations + Maintenance (LEED AP O+M) Distinguishes professionals implementing sustainable practices, improving performance, heightening eciency and reducing environmental impact in existing buildings through enhanced operations and maintenance. Thoughts? Input? Funny pictures?

NFL Should move Draft to other NFL cities
Captain Hindsight replied to oman128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How would that even work? The draft is far to spread out as it is. 3 Days is long enough -

My kid is going to an Ivy League school!
Captain Hindsight replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Something similar to this happened at my high school. A few kids thought if they broke in and caused enough damage school would be cancelled. They stole iPods and phones and just threw everything from lockers. I was pissed because I loved my high school. A janitor showed up early and called the assistant principal. The kids that did it (3 or 4 students) were arrested by lunch time and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and kicked out of school (I went to a private school) Most of them were "good" kids too -
Bucs willing to trade Mike Glennon
Captain Hindsight replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To counter that: Lovie knows how valuable a good QB is. He is one Rex Grossman from having a super bowl ring. If he though Glennon had any shot of being good, he'd keep him -
Prediction: Bills move up to #4 to take MACK
Captain Hindsight replied to maddenboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Greg Gabriel was on the John Murphy show the other night and when asked if the Bills were moving up as McShay reported, Gabriel just laughed and said not if McShay said it, Kiper maybe, not mcshay -
Bucs willing to trade Mike Glennon
Captain Hindsight replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im actually a little surprised by this. I thought he played well enough to be a solid backup in the league. Someone will pick him up I'm sure -

Donald Sterling in hot water
Captain Hindsight replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hadn't considered that but i doubt other leagues need to do such a ban. He simply wouldn't be approved as an owner -

Totally agree that guy is a dick. Just something I was thinking about this morning -
Donald Sterling in hot water
Captain Hindsight replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Off the Wall Archives
i don't disagree at all with this guy being a dick. He is and that is very apparent. He should be in hot water But then I look at events like the whole #cancelcolbert nonsense. The pitchforks were out even before he had a chance to respond. Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty comes to mind too. Again I personally don't also disagree with everyone's reaction to certain issues (Donald Sterling included), my hope is that America doesn't become a single minded nation were only the majority line of thinking or the loudest voice is "right". Disagreement is natural and in some cases should be encouraged. (Not in this case of course) I'm really commenting on society as a whole, not just this situation. -

What is most sad to me about a story like this is that an ignorant man has to be tarred and feathered instead of educated. When I step back from this and try to think about the situation a few different ways. One viewpoint is that "Watch what you say and if we don't agree with you, a million people are going to show you how much we hate you." How is that any different than what this man has done? Hate breeds hate I guess My guess is that the Commish will come out, condemn him, suspend and him and fine him a huge sum of money that will be donated to a local charity. Then eventually after many months of shaming, the team will be sold to Magic Johnson in some sort of poetic justice. But what really came of all this in the end? One voice grew louder and drove the bigot out? What does that really say about how far the country has come on issues like racism? Or just unpopular opinions? I guess what the point I'm trying to make is that instead of shoving a pitchfork up somebody's ass when they say something unpopular, we take time to educate rather than simply destroy him/her. For me this goes beyond the many social issues facing our country today (gay marriage, pot, racism, sexism, ect.) and to just unpopular opinions in general. I really hope this country doesn't become a place where if you say the Earth is round, you go to jail. That said, its clear this guy is a bigot. I'm sure society/ the NBA will handle him appropriately and I won't shed a tear for him. -
Odd headline concerning Marrone's health
