  1. Hondo, I listened to the AFC Championship between the Bills and the Raiders on a roof during SCUD attacks brother at King Faud Airport; same thing for the Broncos game on a roof listening to AFN when Biscuit blocked the kick. In 1980 I listened to the Bills - Rams on AFN guarding an ammo bunker in the jungles of Panama; thanks for your service brother!
  2. Great post, we have the same history and perspective, thanks! Ronnie! The Rams game = greatest and most emotional in the teams history; Chuck Knox crying as he left the field then the dancing encore!
  3. 1966 - played the Chiefs to go to the first Super Bowl but lost; I attended the AFL Championship game went home sad. 1973 - OJ and 2000 yards; after six years of really bad football it was great! For those who complain about McBeane or even Peterman you have no idea what bad is! 1980 - loved this team and its personalities; the win against the Rams. 1988 - We were finally back and you knew we would be for awhile! 1998/1999 - Sorry, loved watching Flutie and the defense
  4. Enjoy, my last one in 2004, but I am 5 -1 since 1980 so my next trip I hope to extend my win streak!
  5. Winning is great but only counts if you are playing Arena League Football - I rest my case! I would love to spend a cold gray day in an open air stadium with some flurries on natural grass watching smash mouth football, especially if its a Buffalo win.
  6. Excellent post, getting there but still in the reboot process, but exciting to watch and heading for better days. If we beat the Patriots Sunday it will be equal to shutting out the Dolphins at home in 1987. If we get beat it does not change anything!
  7. You are in the era of the Arena Football League "Showtime" mindset; winning is OK but they need lots of action for it to count!
  8. Wherever the hell it was, I was there as a guest of the LA Rams with sixty soldiers!
  9. Do not underestimate the impact of the anthem protests two years ago, the Antonio Brown drama and others, and the fact millennials are really not pure football fans. Certain cities such as Green Bay and Buffalo view teams as tradition, part of culture, family, growing up, through generations; how long that holds up I have no idea. But the NFL owners and players better start paying attention to the empty seats and come up with the right answer then address as needed. I have friends across the country that spend big money on college but will not turn the NFL on; why? In 1984 I attended Rams and Falcons at the LA collesium with Eric Dickerson in his prime; lots of empty seats and those in attendance appeared bored.
  10. Like I told our illustrious proponent for this move, we have a good thing going, why screw it up!
  11. Nope, keep on wanting it aint happening with good reason, adults are in charge now!
  12. Nope, stay away, stay away. We have a great team culture developing why f*** it up; and he would! Build through the draft, know its old fashion and you want showtime, but I want a team with a winning culture!
  13. Ya ya, its an offensive league, defense no longer matters - but it does!
  14. Still don't know who SDS is; but if it gives you thrills, have it. You seem easily amused yet priceless.
  15. I will never understand the abnormal obsession with Watkins; never lived up to first round status, never!
  16. Virgil, You are one of the All Pro members of TBD, not your comment that kicked this off. What I seen yesterday was a football team playing to win and the culture developing that many have been waiting for since 1999. No more divas just players wanting to win. Sorry, I lost faith in Watkins year three, Gilmore another story. I wanted the tank and rebuild, not just players but scouting and front office. This team a dumpster fire that scammed us for over 15 years and finally getting serious about winning!
