  1. That’s not who they’ve had for much of the season. Herbert put up 300 yard games throwing to mostly UDFAs. And the LA online is worse than philly’s.
  2. Thanks for the link to those advertisements.
  3. With all due respect, you sound like Brian Griese. Wentz is completely shot. He can’t process what’s in front of him and can’t get the ball to open receivers (yes, there are plenty of those). The o-line and WRs aren’t great, but they aren’t any worse than what Herbert has to work with, and they are miles better than what Allen had in 2018. If Pederson deserves criticism, it’s for not playing Hurts.
  4. Zero chance of Pederson accepting an OC job and only slightly greater chance of him getting canned. It’s not Pederson’s fault that Wentz sucks, although he does deserve some blame for leaving him out there.
  5. Yep. Garappolo’s limitations were exposed in the Super Bowl, but he’s miles better than Mullins, who’s below average as a back up.
  6. Look how different our offense is with Brown healthy...now imagine it with Metcalf Imagine if they were playing against a real defense...
  7. Wow. Only 37 years ago. Love the Van Miller call!
  8. And a hero to just as many😄
  9. Here’s a question: Have the Bills EVER completed a Hail Mary pass? I’ve been a Bills fan for 36 years and I can’t recall one.
  10. Fulgrahm is good, Reagor is fast and has potential, Jeffrey has lost a step but he knows what he’s doing. And Goedert is a very good TE. It’s a way better group than the Bills had a couple years back.
  11. Are you serious? They aren’t great, but he is absolutely awful. Can’t get rid of the ball, can’t find open guys. Horrible decision making. Absolutely no reason for him to be out there. Brian Griese is an all-time idiot, by the way.
  12. They are plenty good enough. He is simply unable to deliver the ball. He’s not an NFL-caliber QB anymore.
  13. Has Wentz thrown a ball more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage?
  14. How can they leave him in????
  15. I can’t believe they are leaving Wentz out there. He’s got some sort mental block. Simply cannot find the open guy and get rid of the ball. Now he’s just checking down every play. That was his best throw of the night.
  16. How does Chris Carson fall to the seventh round???
  17. They aren’t trading someone they just drafted in the second round. They are in playoff contention and they have one of the three worst starters in the league. Hurts is gonna need to play.
  18. Sorry...can’t stop thinking about Josh Allen throwing lasers all over field to DK Metcalf... Who? Wentz is un-tradeable.
  19. I’ve never thought Wentz was very good, but he has regressed horribly to the point that he is now one of the worst QBs in football. Hangs on to the ball way too long. Pederson needs to sit him.
  20. I thought Marrone did too. Wanted to play “ground and pound”. Idiot.
  21. Picking Leonard Fournette over Pat Mahomes and Deshaun Watson didn’t help, either...
  22. It‘s a common problem: Teams often evaluate a college QB without considering the team around him. Mayfield is another example, and Mahomes and Herbert the flip side of that coin
  23. Very good perspective here. Sure, the Bills goofed by not drafting Mahomes (seems silly to deny that), but they redeemed themselves pretty well when they took Allen the next year. And of course franchises like the Bears (trading up from 3 to 2 to draft Trubisky) and the Jags (drafting Fournette at 4 overall when they have needed a QB literally forever) opened themselves up to much greater criticism for passing on Mahomes...
  24. Truly idiotic take. By that reasoning, we have no idea how any player would have turned out if drafted by a different team, so we might as well just give every GM a lifetime free-pass. We know for a fact that Mahomes is hands down the best QB in football and far and away the league MVP in his third season as a starter. No matter how Josh Allen turns out, it was a mistake not to draft Mahomes in 2017. In fairness, the Bills did make good use of the picks they got from KC to trade down. And there is also no doubt that other franchises missed the boat far more egregiously, like the Bears, who gave away a ton of picks to move up from 3 to 2 to pick Mitch Trubisky, and the forever QB-needy Jaguars, who drafted a running back at 4th overall that year. But it does not change the fact that it was a major blunder by the Bills and McDermott.
