    Kittle came out of the game in the second quarter, but played in the second half. Hard to tell if he was hobbled or not. At any rate, the niners were playing with Jets-level WRs in that game.

    I don’t think he’s very good, but Jimmy G was missing his top 2 WRs, and Kittle got banged up...so there’s that.

    I get that, but he’s just not any good. A franchise QB should be able to elevate his team. Darnold clearly can’t, and it’s now his third year in the league.

    I don’t know why this game would be any closer either, other than the Gase factor. Didn’t see the Pats-Fins, but wasn’t everyone saying the Pats were going to be in the Trevor Lawrence derby?

    Darnold is awful in the NFL and was mediocre at USC. He’s just not elite in any area and his ball security stinks. He looks like a guy who’s just out there to cash paychecks. As far as his supporting cast, I would argue that until this season, Darnold’s was no worse than JA’s.

    Isn’t Lee suspended for three or four games in the event someone signs him? If so, that would rule him out...
