Very true. WR seems to be a difficult position to draft well. In 2017 there were three guys taken in the top 9 and all have struggled to varying degrees. And the fourth receiver off the board (Zay) has been far from great. And in 2016, the four first round WRs have been flat out awful (alright, Fuller has been OK)...

Ross has definitely gotten off to a slow start in the NFL due to injuries and who knows what else. But he's got blazing speed and he was highly productive in college, playing at the highest level. Seems like a pretty good investment of a fourth round pick, if that in fact is the asking price.

I would welcome this. The Jets have used their premium picks on defense for years and it’s gotten them nowhere. The Jets need offensive weapons, just like the Bills do. They’ll be looking to trade back. That was my initial reaction, but I’m not so sure. He went 10 overall last year, and he was hardly a total disaster as a rookie starter on a bad team. If more than one team likes him, the Cards could get a mid-first for Rosen.

Could be a smokescreen. It seems like a risky strategy, because they are messing with Rosen's head, but if the Cards want someone to try to trade up to 1 for Murray or Haskins, it makes sense for them to suggest that they might just pull the trigger on a QB.

I thought that might be the case last year. I think this year Zay’s safer, but not a lock to make the team. Cutting him would mean Sean admitting to a bad mistake, which he won’t do unless there’s really no other choice.

And let’s not forget, Foster put up those numbers in a passing offense that probably hadn’t produced even a single 100-yard receiving game since Watkins was shipped out.
