  1. Me too. It’s a really deep class and teams are seeing how expensive WRs are on the open market now. It is now the premium position, other than QB.
  2. I may have miscounted…yep, it was 13
  3. I don’t know, those all look like solid values, to me. And not unlike what happened in 2022, when six WRs went top 18 and then eight more between 34-54…
  4. What’s wrong with one captain?
  5. Just like in years past…always a run on WR early in rd 2…we did get Shakir, though.
  6. One reason: Drafted number 17. That’s enough for now
  7. I think Jermaine Burton has to be on the list of considerations for Bills at 60…great long ball tracker and YAC guy…suffered under bad QB this year.
  8. And each of those seasons exceeded anything Diggs did in Minnesota, a fact that the morons who say Diggs made Josh who he is conveniently forget. It was the opposite.
  9. Not unless there’s been a trade…
  10. With the 48th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Roman Wilson, WR, Univ. Of Michigan. Anyone who thought we were going into this crucial season for Trevor Lawrence with a receiving corps of Zay Jones, Gabe Davis and an injured Christian Kirk had better think again. Wilson has the best hands in the draft and is maybe the twitchiest guy in the draft too. He was underutilized in the Wolverine’s Stone Age offense and is not a slot-only guy in the NFL. @Might Rather and the Cincinnati Bungles are on the clock.
  11. Mitch Trubisky should not be the reason not to draft a qb in round 5 or 6.
  12. Great job. Would have been a good pick at 13, too
  13. Really nice first round, everyone. With the caveat that there are no trades, this seems very close to how it will play out IRL, with the exception of Daniels lasting to 11. I'd bet we hit at least 7 or 8 picks square on the head...IOW, better than most of the "experts".
  14. Well, the good news is that that should dampen the trade market for him...although there are plenty of teams out there that could swallow that easily...
  15. Not aware of any, but in light of the Diggs trade, it's certainly logical that we would be interested...
  16. Thanks. It has been posted elsewhere that he would cost only $7 million this year...could we extend him and lower his cap hit this year?
  17. Interesting...can you explain further? I thought Aiyuk would be relatively cheap this year and would not become expensive until next year when Diggs and Miller come off of our cap...
  18. I'm kinda warming to the idea of Aiyuk (assuming we don't give up a first for him) and a rookie at 28. Aiyuk won't become expensive until next year, when Diggs's salary comes off the books. that way, we're not going into 2024 relying on a rookie WR1.
  19. I’d sign off on that, but I think it takes more than that to get Thomas, Jr….id be ok sticking at 28 and taking Franklin or Leggette or Mitchell… The Bills didn’t actually get a second for Diggs. They gave up two picks and are getting a second next year. 60 and maybe a 4th this year might be enough to get Aiyuk. I don’t see any team giving up their first for him in a draft year like this one.
  20. The Niners can want more, but if no one else wants to pay it, that’s really irrelevant.
  21. Why couldn’t we get Aiyuk for one second round pick?
  22. I'd rather take my chances in the draft. Aiyuk is very good, but to me he's not a clearcut WR1 and wasn't one in SF...oh, and he wants to be paid. Seems like a bad year to trade draft assets for a guy like this...
  23. They aren’t visiting Orchard Park
  24. well, a good gauge is that in 2017, KC traded 27, a 2018 first, and a 2017 third to move up to 10...so the package you're talking about probably gets you to 16 or 17
  25. Seems about right, except that in the real draft, I expect Penix and/or Nix to be off the board by now.
