My response was to the poster who seemed to claim that Wade's simple defense is what wins Super Bowls. Of course, that's the first time his simple defense won the Super Bowl.

So that simple defense of his has won how many Super Bowls? He has as many rings as Rex.

So the wife and I will be going to Hawaii later this spring. A week on Kauai and another week on the Big Island. I've never been anywhere in Hawaii before, so I'm totally looking forward to this. I was looking to see if any folks here have been to either of the islands and have any really cool adventurous things to do or places to eat. I've been starting a list of things I'd like to do, but I'm looking for experiences people have had that you would recommend. Let's have it!

Teams almost never don't need a CB in the draft. What we don't need is a starter.

Probably, I'd imagine, depending on how expensive he is. Sad to see Leo go, to a certain extent. I liked having him as an insurance policy as a 3rd corner, but he was always frustrating as a starter. Lots of talent, but never seemed to be able to put it all together consistently.

Perhaps, although word is that we are in pretty good cap shape for 2017 at the moment. That will change, of course, if Glenn and Gilmore are signed long term, but it looks like we should have some wiggle room to give TT a nice contract if needed.

Makes you wonder why/how a guy like Tom Brady isn't at the top of that list, or near to it.

No reason to do a TT deal now. We need a way to sign Glenn and Incognito right now. Signing TT does not help that, nor is it critical to do it now.

I'm hoping Glenn signs a long-term deal that reduces his cap hit this year, giving us even more room to maneuver and sign Incognito. And yes, the cap hit for rookies is about $5 million, not $9 million.

Perhaps, but then, why don't people look for running backs to be a little bigger to be better able to absorb all those hits and perhaps not have to miss games? It's not like coaches expect running backs to miss games. I just don't get why people feel that size is okay for a running back, but the same size is too small for a QB?

I get that, and I don't disagree, I'm just saying that there may not be a clear correlation between QB size/propensity to run and injury. Roethlisberger is a good example of a bigger guy who doesn't run, who couldn't complete a full 16-game schedule nine times out of twelve seasons.

So what's the excuse for Roethlisberger? Or Aaron Williams, for that matter?
