Lotulelei is a gap eater not a penetrator.. He's going to be invisible all year long.. It will show up in our run defense stats YPC but none of that matters if they can pass at will.. so hopefully our pass d has some wrinkles we have not seen

2 days ago I would of said no way.. Today I'm thinking we are most definitely drafting top 5. granted things could turn out better than most of think, but I'm just not encouraged with the way our OL was literally man handled like they have no business in the league

WR is not an issue for us IMO, and Incognito had a deal in place but reneged, and that would of not mattered as he has clearly gone off the rails. Woods was unfortunate... but I do agree, since my hindsight is 20/20, we really need quality interior OL / C He traded up for Watkins when Mack was sitting there. Now tell me again how great Whaley was for us..

Worst OL I have ever seen in my entire time watching this team, and weve had some bad ones. Defense has not impressed even a little... Yeah im not confident at this junction

Nope not square 1 we are beyond square one but it does pretty much shut the door on Allen starting week 1 unless Peterman also stinks it up as well. If both stink it up maybe then we are back to square 1 I guess this does not apply to spelling but its still funny

Its a combination.. Neither trumps the other IMO... together they form a larger picture. The combines is mostly pure analytics, but the combine has turned lower rated prospects into 1st rd busts but has also found some hidden gems just the same I would agree the baseball analytics are definitely cleaner for interpretation based upon exactly what you are saying.. Its a game mostly of individual perfromace where the data can be dissected in a more cut and dry way. but its still very useful in football its just has to be scrutinized and combined with scouting and game film much more

I kind of see a different player. I see a guy ahead of the curve already.. Impressive in his ball placement and pocket awareness, outside a few mistakes which any rookie is going to experience. However this weekend will be the big test of course The eyeball test is much different with Allen.. EJ had decent stats but never looked good, never looked comfortable. Allen has decent stats but actually looks like he see the field and can dissect the D some and make adjustments when necessary.
