We'll have to get a group tailgaiting outside ALLTEL stadium banging on Cowbells before the Super Bowl, bring them into the stadium & bang them after we score

I think the Eagles still make it because they're still tons better than any other NFC team, even without TO, and they've got home field. Kearse is still on the team that went to the NFC final without him last year.

From today's Buffalo News: Only time will tell how long Moulds and Evans continue terrorizing defenses? But if they are this good after just one season together imagine what they'll be in Year Two. "I think we'll get better and better the more we play together," Moulds said. "Lee's a great young talent who is only going to get better."

I can't see us getting much in this year's draft, so I suspect what TD will do is trade Henry for a conditional pick in the 2006 draft. That way if TH performs well for his new team the Bills get a decent pick, if not then it's a lower pick, My guess: a minimum 2006 4th rounder which upgrades to a 3rd if TH goes over 1,000 and a 2nd if he goes over 1,500. The 2nd may also be tied to the new team's ability to sign TH to a new contract beyond 2005. If you're thinking Henry & a pick to move up, use a 3rd-4th as the guide to add to the pick to determine move up. So I can't see us getting into the 1st because that would be = to a low 1st-early 2nd & a 2nd, but I could see us moving our 3rd + Henry into the 2nd round. In terms of history, we received a 4th from GB for Darrick Holmes in the middle of the season. Corey Dillon was traded for a 2nd, so anyone who thinks we can get higher than a conditional 2nd is dreaming, anyone who thinks we'll get lower than a 4th is underestimating Henry's value.

To tear the field goal posts down or not.....

Ever since the fans ripped up the turf with a game to go in 1991, if you try to go on the field you can expect security to kick your @ss. -

If Bills, Jets and Broncos are all 10-6...
Albany,n.y. replied to muddy waters's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since you break the tie in division 1st, if we win & Jets lose-Jets are out! Denver is in with a win no matter what-I don't know what the reason is, but Den has a tie breaker over us. -
Root for Rams against Eagles?
Albany,n.y. replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No matter what happens tommorrow night, Martz will be coaching for his job against the Jets. If he wins he probably will be back, lose (especially if its a blowout) & he's gone. The Jets are playing with a sore armed QB & that's never good. -
He was injured for 1/2 the season & we chose to waive him rather than keep 2 kickers on a team that was bad enough to go 3-13. His kickoffs were below par + he's been let go by 2 teams since then & was 1 more bad kick from getting cut by the Giants earlier this year. Get over it, I'd be more upset that we cut Shane Graham than Christie, but I have to admit when Graham was here he was nowhere near the kicker he became in Cincinnati.

Patriots-Jets...who to root for
Albany,n.y. replied to Lord Chinfist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't: Jets & Pats both clinch positions with a tie & basically wipes us out of the playoffs. With Denver winning, our best chance is beating out the Jets. There's no way that Indy will need the game because they lose the tie breaker with NE & if the lose to SD they're locked into 4. Remember how many tank games Polian presided over as GM with the Bills when we had our playoff position locked up. -
We need Antowain Smith to play out of his mind in the 2nd half.

Next Year's Schedule-Christmas Day Games?
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I checked my programs from 1994 (The last time Christmas was on Sunday) & the majority of games were on Christmas Eve. I now remember going to a bar & watching us lose to Indy that year. -

I hope we don't get a home game on Christmas next year, but I'm torn because if the game isn't on local TV, the places to see the game on satellite will probably be closed. The best I can hope for is a road game vs the Jets so I'm guaranteed the game will be on TV in Albany... Or maybe we'll get lucky & have a national game on the road. I'm sure there's lots of mixed opinions, with those going back to WNY for the holidays more in favor of a home game. In 1995 we had a Christmas Eve home game & the place was deserted by the 4th quarter.

Deck the halls with boughs of horry...

I've seen bits & pieces of it before, but today was the 1st time I ever watched it in its entirety. I couldn't stop laughing. Best Christmas movie I've ever seen. -
I updated my spreadsheet to calculate the draft order. The results do not include yesterday's GB/Min game but I did adjust for Min to draft ahead of GB. Right now if we make the playoffs Dallas gets our pick @#25. If we don't make the playoffs then Dallas gets our pick @ #19: If Bills Make Playoffs Team Wins Opponents Wins 1 San Francisco 2 107 2 Miami 3 122 3 Cleveland 3 132 4 Tennessee 4 115 5 Arizona 5 101 6 Chicago 5 106 7 Tampa Bay 5 106 8 Washington 5 109 9 Dallas 5 115 10 Detroit 5 115 11 NY Giants to SD 5 118 12 Oakland 5 128 13 New Orleans 6 107 14 St. Louis 6 110 15 Houston 6 115 16 Cincinnati 6 121 17 Kansas City 6 125 18 Denver 8 110 19 Jacksonville 8 119 20 Baltimore 8 122 21 Carolina 6 115 22 Seattle 7 100 23 Minnesota 8 105 24 Green Bay 8 106 25 Buffalo to Dallas 8 113 26 NY Jets 10 113 27 Atlanta 11 94 28 San Diego 11 108 29 Indianapolis 11 111 30 New England 12 109 31 Philadelphia 13 98 32 Pittsburgh 13 108 If Bills Don't Make Playoffs Team Wins Opponents Wins 1 San Francisco 2 107 2 Miami 3 122 3 Cleveland 3 132 4 Tennessee 4 115 5 Arizona 5 101 6 Chicago 5 106 7 Tampa Bay 5 106 8 Washington 5 109 9 Dallas 5 115 10 Detroit 5 115 11 NY Giants to SD 5 118 12 Oakland 5 128 13 New Orleans 6 107 14 St. Louis 6 110 15 Houston 6 115 16 Cincinnati 6 121 17 Kansas City 6 125 18 Denver 8 110 19 Buffalo to Dallas 8 113 20 Baltimore 8 122 21 Carolina 6 115 22 Seattle 7 100 23 Minnesota 8 105 24 Green Bay 8 106 25 Jacksonville 8 119 26 NY Jets 10 113 27 Atlanta 11 94 28 San Diego 11 108 29 Indianapolis 11 111 30 New England 12 109 31 Philadelphia 13 98 32 Pittsburgh 13 108
