  1. I have my Xanax, hope I only need one (“pre-game downs”).
  2. I’m just happy I don’t have to bang my head into a cabinet 4-5 critical times in games when Daboll called plays that drove the whole game thread insane.
  3. Let someone else pay Gabe 13.5 mil: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/gabriel-davis-47723/market-value/ I will miss his blocking but I’d like to think we could get a legit WR2 (not one who shows up 2-3 games a season) and a blocking WR/or one of our two TEs to scheme up to block. As Collinsworth said (I know, I know) we did a good job running those legal rub routes with our other WRs. I’d pay him a salary that would insult him but values his true worth. Or, spend Gabe’s money elsewhere in FA and draft a WR2 and then a S.
  4. I’m more interested in an OC with experience who can tailor our offense to Josh’s strengths—he’s young but as we know time flies by…
  5. It’s not enough that we subsidize their billion dollar stadiums with our tax dollars: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/22/taxpayers-are-paying-billions-for-nfl-stadiums-heres-how.html#:~:text=The reason cities end up,teams to pay for stadiums. Would love to hear the people responsible for this explain how it’s fair to any taxpayer. Because this is only the beginning.
  6. 5-0 after the Eagles game. That’s f’ing awesome.
  7. Ty Johnson has been a very pleasant surprise. Would have never thought I’d say ever say that! 👍
  8. My DVR f’ed up and I missed the first f’ing half. I was so pumped. That said, I’ll miss the entire first half if I was guaranteed that the Bills would be up 21-3. F’ING A** BILLS! I’ll rewatch but it won’t be awesome!
  9. I want revenge for sitting through 3/4 of SB XXVII. A memory I have of sitting in stacked parking until the cars eventually started to move after a lifetime of sitting in silence that is forever etched in my brain. GO BILLS!!!!
  10. Probably works like when Robert “Happy Ending” Kraft always squared up for Bellicheat’a acct. Reid and Mahomes will get their money back on the flip side.
  11. Trevor Bauer 2.0 (until all the facts come out). And, please note this is NOT a reflection of the legit victims!
  12. We were privileged to have the safety duo of Hyde and Poyer for as long as we did. It was like having two more DCs out there on the field whose effect on the defense and the younger secondary players will be a great loss.
  13. Wish we had a Ted Washington or Pat Williams clone! But, I’m very happy with Joseph, especially this late in the season and I’m sure the compensation is very fair. Gotta give Beane credit for the Douglas move too (heard nothing but positive things about him). I just wish we’d had depth at LB coming into the season but I think every team is short in one or more position groups (guess LB will be one of our three 6th round picks next year or an amalgamation of late picks to move up).
  14. Here’s a nice blurb about Johnson. Looks like he can start right away as opposed to a rookie CB that McD won’t play for another two years. 😈
  15. Missing three of our best players at each level is the reason why we’re looking at a loss to Robert “Tug and Rub” Kraft. MLB knows how to discipline cheaters. The NFL is more interested in higher ratings, protect Goodall’a friend, Kraft. If a real investigate journalist researched all of the cheating and had access to the NFL’s “archives” and the Zagruber films the Pats legacy would be tarnished forever.
  16. I’m not the sharpest tool in the toolbox but I have noticed that in today’s game they have thrown the ball to Cooks on I believe two occasions, and things worked out very well. When they drafted him, I thought they were going to be throwing him the ball because he was our McKinnon skillset back but one who could also run. So, I’m happy to see that they’re finally doing that and I hope it’s integrated into our OC’s game plan.
  17. Post Josh—we never had a running game like this. Cook is not a grind out the yards when defenses expect the run—he’s best at getting to the edge and cutting back between the tackles. Neither lend themselves to picking up those tough 2-4 yards you need when the D knows you have to run because Josh running with his Superman cape as our RB1 on every tough rushing down was Russian Roulette. I want him to retire a Bill and Murray and Harris are strong runners who can and have gotten us those tough yards. OL keeps up good work and we have a team that could have held off the Jets with a 13-3 halftime by pound the ball and grind D and the clock. Protect Josh while being able to win those battles.
