  1. Last 2 1/2 games our offense hasn’t scored a TD in 2nd half. That is a problem.
  2. I think Dorsey is getting out coached in the 2nd halves. The offense has not been responding well to opponents defensive halftime adjustments.
  3. I think Trump’s goal is to suck all the money out of Republican donors to weaken any future rivals. If he isn’t the nominee, he will ensure that whoever is, won’t win. His revenge has no limits. He has loyalty to no one and no party. The only way he will play nice is if one of his kids is on the ticket.
  4. Going into the season, Davis, McKenzie and Knox were all expected to up their game and fill in for the departure of Beasley and Sanders. Unfortunately, all three seem to have regressed. Davis & McKenzie are now facing better DBs from the opposing team compared to last year. Shakir hasn’t really blossomed. I saw some video which showed Josh had open players short and instead he was force feeding Davis and Diggs. Josh needs to play like he did in the Rams opener. Spread the ball around and take what the D gives you and trust your teammates.
  5. That guy is a complete phony trying to appeal to the MAGA crowd. He thinks shooting a gun into a pond will elevate his tough guy status. I’m pretty sure he couldn’t even hit a pie plate at 20 feet if he tried. I don’t know who was advising him on this commercial but driving a BMW into the desert doesn’t work either. What a joke.
  6. I probably shouldn’t judge others, especially those with mental illness like narcissism. None of us really knows any of the politicians but I know Biden is Catholic and he has spoken often about how important his faith is to him. He has spoken about how his faith has helped him through incredibly difficult times in his life. In contrast, Trump gives appears to only care about himself. His scandals even before his political life are well documented. Employing others is what he does to make money, not that there is anything wrong with that. Him being an employer is irrelevant to his individual morality. Anyway, my comment was referring to politicians spouting off about how Trump was sent by God. Does even Mike Pence believe that?
  7. What a joke. Trump doesn’t have a religious bone in his body. This is politicians trying to manipulate their religious followers to justify supporting a person in Trump who has no values or virtues.
  8. Fox News attorneys have argued in court that they in fact are not a news organization, but instead are broadcasting entertainment. Hopefully Dominion wins their $1.7 billion defamation case against them.
  9. So the party who supports small government and doesn’t want government intrusion into the lives of citizens is OK with this?
  10. That red blue map is deceiving. I have a few friends who see that and say “How can the democrats win? They are cheating….” Then I have to explain that cows don’t vote…
  11. Trump’s hold on the party seems to be melting. If he has lost Ann Coulter, maybe he better rethink his announcement next week.
  12. You are right about their turnout. However, the young people that I know who vote really do care about the issues. They have strong concerns about abortion access, climate change, gay marriage and social inequality issues. Gen Z is the future of America and their voting power is growing.
  13. This issue has clearly become an anchor for republicans and a galvanizing issue for dems. For decades republicans fought to overturn Roe. The religious right is a core part of the R party with many/most of them singularly focused on banning all abortions. It will be interesting to see what the party does to appear more reasonable to voters on this issue. Between the abortion issue and their Trump problem, they have a lot of internal evaluation to do.
  14. Sometimes this stuff gets a bit confusing for me. In the end, I don’t care, there are bigger problems in the world. A lot of times, I think the parents are more upset about the trans teen than their peers are.
  15. Well, people last night voted to affirm abortion rights in all states where it was on the ballot. Voters in KY, MI, VT, CA & MT chose to protect womens rights. That is about as diverse a group of states as you could choose. It is pretty clear now how most Americans feel about this issue. I would expect Democrats to push to get this issue on ballots in other states in future elections.
  16. This is exactly the problem with American politics today and is why our political system has become dysfunctional. Social media has fueled much of the demonization of “those on the other team”. Too many people go down the worm hole resulting in ruined friendships, families, etc. In the end, we are all Americans who have different opinions on issues. No different than the differences Americans debated during our grandparents time. We are all just trying to get by and raise our kids in this changing world. To call the other side the enemy is to call your neighbor, kids, or relatives who think different than you, the enemy. Who wants to live in that miserable world? Not me. Life is too short.
  17. Nye County NV is hand counting thousands and thousands of ballots because election-conspiracy believing officials got rid of the ballot tabulating machines. https://www.fox5vegas.com/2022/11/09/nye-county-resume-controversial-hand-count-ballots-thursday/
  18. The owner of Indy is going all tank mode again to find another Manning or Luck in the draft. That’s his MO. Hines is probably happy he got out when he did.
  19. So the Republican Party pushes the lie. Fox entertainment pushes it nonstop. Their gullible followers eat it up. Some poor suckers end up losing their jobs, fracturing their families, going to prison or even dying for acting on the lie. All to please the orange god king.
  20. That last throw by Josh was perfect. Hopefully, that is a sign that there was no serious damage to his arm. Gabe is an enigma. He can be great, or not.
