  1. I agree. I think he has been underperforming this year. His production seems off from last year.
  2. This game was like gastric reflex when you taste your own vomit. That’s my real feeling about this one.
  3. Just burn the memory of this game. Hopefully Josh’s right arm is not injured.
  4. His presence was sorely missed. We have no replacement for him.
  5. With as good as Josh is, I agree. It would be nice to get started on their quest to win the last game. Brady had an 18 year window. Stability in coaching and front office will be key to keeping the window open.
  6. After listening to his presser, he sounds like a great guy. Intelligent and process oriented and ready to contribute. That story about Dion finding his pendant was cool and now Dion might be opening up holes to spring him loose. I’m looking forward to seeing him in this offense. I know I’ll be screaming Go Hines Go!
  7. I have t read through all 35 pages but this move gives Cook time to develop while the team gets a similar skill sets in a proven vet. Also, I’m sure Bean likes his punt return ability. We want a veteran in that position too. Who knows how the RB room shakes out in the future. A lot will happen between now and then. This is a move for this year.
  8. This guy looks like he is working on his testicular tanning.
  9. He is one guy we can’t replace on the defense. He does so much so well.
  10. That guy looks like a moron trying to play dumb about his video shooting a shotgun. Guns have no place in political advertising. People can talk about their gun rights without showing off their arsenal. I bet more than half of these phony morons can’t even shoot straight. They pose with the guns for street cred among their constituents. All of it is suggestive to the mentally sick people in our society to take violent action which is not a good thing for society.
  11. This attacker sounds like a mentally sick nut job. Tying him to MAGA seems like a bit of a stretch now. We only know a bit of what actually occurred and of the attacker. Whackos attack famous political people for all sorts of reasons, not necessarily political. Rational people try to make sense of their irrational actions but sometimes there is no sense to be found.
  12. The only acceptable response is that this attack is horrible and must be condemned. That should be the same response to stalkers outside Supreme Court justices homes, attempted kidnapping of governors, shooting representatives at a softball game, or violence against any other government official, regardless of party affiliation. Threats against elected officials has spiked in recent years and must be quelled. Failure to condemn such actions will only lead to more violence. Anyone promoting violent behavior must also be condemned. Choose Love.
  13. Meanwhile, the NV Supreme Court has shut down the hand count of ballots in a Trump county west of Vegas. Ya know, ya just can’t trust them computers that rigged the 2020 election against Trump, so let’s hand count! Let’s get those rotary dial phones installed too cause the government is spying on our cell phone calls. Anyone want to volunteer for hand counting? From the AP report: Two groups of five that The Associated Press observed Wednesday spent about three hours each counting 50 ballots. Mismatched tallies led to recounts, and occasionally more recounts. Several noted how arduous the process was, with one volunteer lamenting: “I can’t believe it’s two hours to get through 25” ballots. Nye County interim clerk Mark Kampf emphasized throughout the day to “take it nice and slow.” In an interview, he declared the first day a success and said, “It was a process of learning here.” As one person announced candidate names aloud, a verifier looked over her shoulder and three talliers marked sheets of paper. A print-out instruction sheet on a wall across from a video camera above their table urged them to “FOCUS, FOCUS” on each name that was read. One group observed by AP found mismatched tallies for eight candidates during a verification period that lasted 30 minutes. A recount took nearly 40 minutes, and two of the recounts still had different outcomes. “That’s going to be my new name. Mismatch,” said one of the talliers. “It’s our first day, don’t feel bad,” the verifier replied. “As long as we catch ’em.” “It will get better,” Kampf later told the group. The secretary of state’s office said Nye County had to split teams into separate rooms so anyone observing the count of early in-person and mailed ballots would not know the “totality of returns.” Participants were not identified for the media.
  14. A defensive player needs to punch him there while sacking him. Based on the videos, it looks like that’s what the Hoodie coaches.
  15. I wonder what’s the Bears reason for this. Pass rushers are tough to find. Given his trade history, I wonder if there are off the field issues.
  16. This better explains what’s going on in FL. https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/florida-right-vote-can-cost-you Quotes from link pasted below. Fifty-five-year-old Kelvin Bolton was arrested at a homeless shelter earlier this year in Gainesville, Florida. He was held on a $30,000 bond and charged with three counts of third-degree perjury and fraud. His alleged crime? Voting with unpaid fines or court fees. … Bolton, who had been convicted for several nonviolent offenses, was registered to vote by the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections office while in jail. In 2018, Floridians approved the Voting Restoration Amendment, known as Amendment 4, which aimed to restore voting rights to most state residents with past felony convictions who have completed their sentences. Amendment 4 put an end to Florida’s categorical policy of lifetime disenfranchisement for felony conviction, a policy with clear racist origins that was estimated to disenfranchise 1 in 4 Black men in the state. Supporters celebrated the amendment, which was estimated to expand the franchise to roughly 1.4 million Floridians. However, not even a year later, Florida’s Republican-controlled legislature passed Senate Bill 7066, which bars people from regaining their voting rights if they have outstanding court debts related to a felony conviction — as was the case with Kelvin Bolton. Any law that requires people to pay to vote is fundamentally antidemocratic. But to make matters worse, Florida makes it virtually impossible for people with past convictions to determine with certainty what they might owe. The state lacks a centralized database for tracking court debt and payments, so there is no easy way to verify court debts within the state’s 67 counties or access data on federal or out-of-state financial obligations. As such, many formerly incarcerated people don’t know they have outstanding debts at all, nor are they aware these debts would render them ineligible to vote.
  17. I’m not a fan of laws removing people’s rights, especially their right to vote. I mean, what relevance does the crime of a sex offender have to a persons right to vote. They are two unrelated issues. If you are convicted of tax evasion, should you lose your right to vote? How about traffic violations? What other rights of ours would you support the government taking when you are convicted of a crime and why is it ok to take the right to vote? Now if a person has been convicted of domestic violence, that would be relevant to their rights to own a gun since they have demonstrated a predisposition for violence. But I don’t see the right championing that cause.
  18. Josh was just a late bloomer who did not get great coaching to develop his skills in college. In college he was constantly under pressure in the pocket. Operating in that environment was actually great training for the nfl as he learned how to evade and escape pressure. He became comfortable operating in chaos. I think that’s a big part of what makes him great. He refined his accuracy with Jordan Palmer but he has incredible throws on his college tape, they just weren’t consistent.
  19. Very good point. Our offense has alot of option routes for the receivers. It is quite complex and may be difficult to learn for a mid-season acquisition. In addition to Josh learning timing with a new receiver.
  20. OBJ for me. We are a pass oriented offense. If Gabe’s ankles give out again, our offense becomes much more limited. I don’t want to trust our post season run to his ankles. I want WR insurance to keep our offense moving. We will always need two good receivers to keep this offense humming. If Singletary goes down, finding RB help is much easier since we are not as dependent on them within our offense.
  21. Meanwhile, Ronald MacDONALD Desantis is sending out his election security police force to arrest people who aren’t allowed to vote. Keeping democracy safe for the true Americans. What a great way to suppress voting. Just start arresting people of color.
