browns wrap the scoreboard digits around, need a last second field goal so the board indicates a win -

should the bills beat Pitt (haha lol right) and absolutely need the game against CLE to have any chance...CLE will win by 40 points, and dopey rex will be standing at the podium afterwords with his big dumb tongue hanging out of his mouth duh duh duh it's hard to win in the nfl -

I had the same thought. The proof that God hates Bills fans will be RG3 throwing for 400 yards and 5 TDs in the snow against the bills. -
We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What
dorquemada replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK Old School, name the FA QBs who can be had for less money (their contract + TT dead cap $$) and be better than TT, I'll wait right here Agreed. It's not to say that EJ is any good, but pretty sure he can win half his games, which isn't a terribly high bar, especially since the rest of the organization seems to be built to get to 8-8 -

There will be FA QBs, but none of them are going to be any better than TT, and won't cost any less -

I realize that's true from a contractual perspective, I mean more in the sense that there isn't really another viable option at QB. For my purposes, I'd be fine seeing EJ again, even remembering how frustrating he can be. TT isn't taking the bills to the playoffs, they have too many other holes and bad coaching, but i don't see the Bills going in any direction except starting TT next year. -

Unfortunately, this is true. We're stuck with tryhard and his contract. My question now is, will he renegotiate to make his contract more team friendly? I don't think anyone can argue with a strait face that he's earned a big payday this year -

Browns fans are where Bills fans will be in a few years. They love their team but have a brutally fatalistic attitude. The advantage that they appear to have is that they never get overly enthusiastic. Every year we drink the koolaid, but maybe a little less -
Thanks for your fierce moral urgency, dwight. It's a good thing we've got you here, or else this thread about the Bills chances of getting into the playoffs might accidentally veer off into unapproved areas!

Thanks for the molten hot take, dwight

time to up your autism meds, dude, your human emotion translation routines aren't working correctly

Yup. I expect this to be one of those games where the bills just look bored and boring. I suspect Pitt will get up by a couple scores then slow it down because the Bills half hearted effort, no reason for anyone to get worn out or injured, let's all just make it safely back to the locker room

Sports fans sometimes use exaggeration as a marker for what we modern people sometimes refer to as "humor" or a tangentially related notion called "sarcasm". I'm sorry if I've upset your delicately nuanced view of how fans sometimes express frustrations at their favorite team, and encourage you to get back to your actuarial tables to help you decide if the bills are going to make the playoffs

Fella? Oh, so you're elderly. Sorry, nevermind, don't want to angry up your blood right before Matlock comes on. Meanwhile the rest of us can continue to imagine scenarios as ridiculously unlikely as the Bills making the playoffs this year, which is the theme of this thread. I realize there's a lot to unpack there, maybe someone can help you with that.

Drama queen? Kathy Bates? Good work, captain joke getter. You must be a blast at parties.

Also, always wear clean underwear because you have an equal shot of Sophia Vergara pulling up next to you in the street and demanding that you come with her for a weekend of hedonistic pleasure.

Sure, we'll come out on fire, and be a pile of inert overpaid ash by mid 2nd quarter. Not even good ash like you get from burning maple or oak, more like the stuff that's left over when you burn particle board or that crappy stuff they make cheap shelving from

Agreed 100%. Remember what Indy did in Manning's first year, kept full protect on, simple O, and let him learn and grow. Bills OL is much better than Indy's was, and Bills have a legit running game to compliment. TT isn't the answer, and is only going to break our hearts and waste our time. Unless the Bills can land a legit FA QB (not a chance) then this is the way to go. Having said that, we're all Bills fans here, and we know exactly what's going to happen. Rexy gets another year so him and his oompa loompa brother can continue to make a small fortune out of a large one, TT will keep the reigns, because Rex has tried nothing and is all out of ideas, and the Bills will struggle to get to... oh say, 8-8 or so. Real rebuilding is still another year off. It's frustrating, but the good news is i've not watched a game in realtime in 7 weeks now because of various other obligations. I was sitting at dinner on Sunday after my son had a fundraiser activity for his school at the mall, and saw a score alert on my phone where Oakland had taken the lead. Knowing 100% how this was going to end, I accessed my DVR from my phone (yaah Directv!) and stopped the recording, then deleted the game, thus saving myself any further anguish. We came home Sunday night and instead of watching the game, we played Settlers of Catan, and my wife and I split a nice bottle of Red from my latest batch.

Bills can't beat a winning team, full stop

Bill Belichick was 36-44 before he came to NE. Hell, Rexy went to the AFCC. Are you implying that Buffalo is a talented, well run team? I think the burden of evidence is on you, not me
