They're just going to sign a volume of players while the Bills will do comparatively little. People usually react to division opponents doing that with extreme anger. I mean, people on this board lost their minds when the Fins signed OBJ last offseason.
-
This place is going to flip out once the Pats start signing players.

Funny that the Rams made a huge deal out of getting younger and then they turn around and resign Stafford and get 32 yo Davante Adams to replace 31 yo Cooper Kupp.

I know that most people in WNY don't like the NBA, but NFL free agency is starting to become almost as bad as NBA free agency. Guys are demanding trades to certain destinations and free agents will only sign with warm weather teams in big markets with good strip clubs. NFL players have just now figured out that they have the power, not the owners.

We won't play them next year unless it's in the Super Bowl.

He said he wants to go to the west coast to be near his family and the Rams paid him. There is nothing any other team could have done to stop that from happening.

DK Metcalf requests trade to a contender

Justin Jefferson has 8 games with 81 or fewer yards (he had exactly 81 yards in 3 games). 27% of Ja'marr Chase's yards came in two games against Baltimore. -

He led the league in sacks and two other guys just got 40M per year. He thinks he worth that. -
The problem is that this is, by all accounts, kind of a 💩 FA class. Everyone of note is resigning where they are.

Not unless he comes with a time machine.

This will happen a bunch more. Guy are resigning rather than testing the market. Not having to uproot your life is a big incentive.

Rodgers will be great in Minnesota and Sauce is sad that it won't happen with the Jets.

Sometimes an Owner's stubbornness and ego get in the way of team management. This is one of those cases. -
The most interesting thing about this is Sauce's response. I sense some bitterness at the Jets organization.

Remember when the Bills beat the Cowboys by running right at him all game?

He'll be a Commie before the week is through. The NFC North just played the NFC East this year so they can trade him and not have it blow up in their face. -

According to Spotrac, the Bills would save a bunch of cap with a trade and a whole bunch more with a post-6/1 trade. But who really knows. -
If you look at the void years on the Eagles' big contracts, you can almost plan Howie Roseman's retirement party.

Chargers or Texans. But also notice that Russini (who is getting info from Metcalf's agent most likely) has dropped "contender" from his list of demands. Just 30M and a beach. -

He can take a bath in cash like Scrooge McDuck. -
Everyone should watch this video from the NFL that explains the salary cap and how cap hits are computed. He also won us a game in NY against the Jets with a strip sack in the red zone, But then Josh proceeded to lose the game with a brutal pick.
-
It's 8.39 million cap hit less than the Bills would have had if he played. So we save on the cap.

Browns had to overpay. Just like with the Raiders, spending absurd amounts of money on a pass rusher when the team has no QB is not the way to build a winner. Remember when the Bills had Mario Williams and a DL with a cool nickname (The Cold Front)? That led to a 6-10 and 9-7 records and no playoffs. But fans got to buy Mario Williams jerseys, so all was good. -

You have to match the game logs to weather history on Weather Underground. On 11/30/2020 in Philadelphia he had a big day. But I looked up the weather and it was unseasonably warm that day with temps in the 60's. Other than that, his 100+-yard receiving days came in the early part of the season and in domes. His performance in late-season home games drops off too once it gets cold in Seattle. There is a single outlier; 12/24/2022 in KC, where he had 80 yards in a loss to the chiefs and it was bitter cold that day. But that is really an exception to the rule.
