  1. Andy Reid in full pads is a funny thought. Or how about Belichick?
  2. This is the second time that the Bengals are crying about refs, but in both cases their offense could have prevented this from even being an issue. Yesterday, all they needed was a few first downs to ice the game. Instead, their OL let them down again. I knew exactly how this would end as soon as the punt team came in. In the AFC CG two seasons ago, the vaunted Bengals offense got the ball with 2 minutes left in a tie game. All they needed to do was to get a few first downs and kick the game winning FG. What happened? They punted. The Bengals love to talk about "Burrowhead" and about how they're the only team that can beat Mahomes, but in the last two big games against them, they came up small in the end.
  3. Chicago's defense is very good and their pass rush got home in the second half.
  4. He limped off and Perine finished the game.
  5. He was so not open at all. You can’t ask Worthy to catch jump balls.
  6. Now all we need is a Worthy TD to get a full TBD meltdown.
  7. They were holding things back last week. All these plays to TEs from under center were not called last week and it cost them a game.
  8. You were saying?
  9. Kyler remembered that MHJ is on the team.
  10. When will NFL players learn to fall on fumbles???????
  11. Sam Darnold is gonna pull a full Baker Mayfield and mess up our draft pick.
  12. You have a point. Many of these same people celebrated Brian Campbell concussing RJ Umburger. I don't remember anyone saying that Umburger should retire. We even turned it into a verb.
  13. I think if the Jets look good today this place will feel like it does after a loss.
  14. My favorite thing about that video is Al Michaels saying "Wrenching that back, which was the issue last week." It could be used as a definition for the overused term "gaslighting."
  15. Yeah. This is like talking to a pitcher about a no-hitter in the 8th inning.
  16. Him not being the adult in the room is probably the problem.
  17. But you can get concussion playing soccer, the sport that a lot of parents think is safer. My son had at least three, and my daughter had more than 3 (they don't always tell you). My son's all came from going up for headers while my daughter took a knee to the head one time that knocked her out (she played keeper). One of my son's teammates got a concussion and the trainer let him go back into the game (it was a HS playoff game). My son said he asked if we had won the game on the bus ride home. He had scored the game winning goal.
  18. I remember that game. The announcers said that Tua's parents were in the stadium and that they went down to the locker room. Then he came back out with a "back injury." I think that had more to do with it than McDaniel.
  19. He can't give up. His father would never let him. He says with a smile that he beat a 17yo with a belt for throwing INTs in high school football games. This is the underlying factor that no one wants to discuss.
  20. I switched to UK almost upsetting UGA
  21. The people that they would surprise the most are their own fans.
  22. This will go over well. People are typing McDivisional as I type this.
  23. I plan to focus on teams that were awful in week one to see if they are actually that bad or was it week one being a liar like usual. So, I am interested in seeing the Browns, Broncos, Giants, etc... I'll also watch some of the Jets and probably the Bengals-Chiefs game.
  24. If that;s true for Tua, then it's also true for Joe Burrow.
  25. Because none of those guys ever made a pundit look bad for a draft night hot take?
