Do you think the Bills brass and coaches read this forum ??
Low Positive replied to arcadia bob's topic in The Stadium Wall
They don't and it's really bad if they do. I remember back when Mike Davis was the head coach at Indiana, he was known to read the message boards. He had a mental breakdown on national TV when Steve Alford got a standing ovation when he came to Bloomington with Iowa. It was all because he had read the thousands of posts calling for Alford to be coach at Indiana. But as @BobbyC81purposes notes above, I'm sure the team has staff that tracks these types of things to get general fan sentiment for marketing pruposes. -
Super Bowl champions goes through adversity
Low Positive replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that this is so hard on us for a number of reasons. First of all, most of us have been waiting for the other shoe to drop since the Bills got good in 2020. It felt too good to be true. and this feels like the end of something. And the Bills will probably have to have an even worse year next year just to get out of the cap situation that we're in so we're looking at 2025 before being able to compete again. We'll have our old trouble attracting players and coaches to Buffalo because we can hire and fire coaches but all that snow is going nowhere. But more than anything, this feels like a regression to the mean. The Bills struggling just feels like the natural order of things. Having a franchise QB suddenly not being able to stop throwing the ball to the other team feels like a repeat of the Trent Edwards situation x100 because Josh was soooo good and the crash has been so sudden. I don't know about other people, but this is uncharted territory for me as a fan. I have been angry about the Bills. I have been indifferent. But I have never been sad, and that's my primary emotion right now. -
is there a HC out there worth going after?
Low Positive replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's toxic. If you want someone from the Reid coaching tree, the OC for the Giants would be a good hire. -

He only played 3 games in 2020 and 7 games in 2021. I guess those are McCaffrey's two worst seasons but it's because he barely played. -
DeShawn Watson out for year-agent accused of highway robbery
Low Positive replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
You still can. Unless the Broncos are competing for the SB it was a stupid move, regardless of what happened Monday night. They didn't have to trade a boatload of picks for the right to offer him that stupid contract. -

Well, the Bills do lead the Jets 2-1 in players-only meetings. Do we win something? -
Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?
Low Positive replied to MarkKelso'sHelmet's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it was McDermott. He was pissed that Dorsey refused to call running plays against that poor Broncos run defense. Someone said that it looked like McDermott was calling the offensive plays on the Bills TD drive at the end. If so, then Dorsey was basically fired mid-game. -

The problem is that the people who would actually have to do that don’t believe that they can. -
Greg Buck captures Bills “fans only” meeting

That was really funny. I needed that. -
I saw that too.

Joe Brady never worked with McDermott in Carolina. McDermott and Beane’s tie to Carolina was the Ron Rivera regime, not Matt Rhule.
-
That’s not surprising. McDermott never gives any info at press conferences.

You called?

Guys fail as OCs in one place and succeed in another all the time. For one glaring example, see the career arc of Brian Daboll.
-
It's mostly his brother stirring the drama on Twitter, but yeah.

Does Anyone Miss Daboll and Frazier?
Low Positive replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I miss is feeling like the Bills were a well-run organization that players wanted to play for. -
In 2019, Mr. Crablegs himself Famous Jameis Winston threw for over 5,000 yards with 33 TD and 30 INTs. I'm not even trying to make a point here. I just love that stat line.

Mike Shula has been a QB Coach in multiple places in the NFL. I'm surprised that he hasn't been named in that position yet. Is he pissed because Brady got the OC shot and not him?
-
In 1999, Brett Favre had 21 TDs and 22 INTs. That's bad.
-
So he was a secret Panther while he was working for the Saints and at LSU?
-
Not only unexcusable but inexplicable. How is this the same group of guys that destroyed the Dolphins? Why can't they play the way they played against the Raiders? I know a lot of fans of other teams and they just don't understand what they are seeing from the Bills.
