  1. If you pause that play and scrub through it, you'll see that Josh should have thrown the ball to Cook. I mean, he took the hardest option, and the ball was almost tipped by two Broncos players. We love this when it works out, but the risk factor there was really high.
  2. It's a special digital cover for season 3 of Ultimate Team. Josh was the cover athlete for season 1 and on the disc version of the game. Randy Moss was the cover athlete for the digital version during season 2. If you go to Target and buy a disc version, Josh Allen is still on that.
  3. What we need is a Larry Bird. Lean over to the defense, tell them the play, and then make the play anyway. Oh wait, Ken Dorsey was practically Larry Bird! Why did we fire the Larry legend of OCs?
  4. The throw is elite. But we can pick nits here too. He bailed on a clean(ish) pocket early. He also had a really easy completion to Cook in the middle of the field to get a FD. It was an incredible throw, but the degree of difficulty on that is off the charts. But that's what you get with Josh.
  5. One of you old guys needs to go to practice today and tell that hippie to get a haircut and to "shape up or ship out!"
  6. Extensions don't matter for coaches. Coach salaries don't impact the cap, and Pegula has shown a willingness to pay coaches to go away many times with the Sabres. Heck, he paid Rex Ryan for three years to not coach the team.
  7. Excellent point, my good sir! It is a bit of a paradox, a conundrum if you will. But I posit that if you sacrifice Josh Allen to save Josh Allen, you will have created a Josh Allen inception. Perhaps a phenomenon similar to a "force ghost." Capital idea, if I say so myself.
  8. And I hope that the Cowboys lose to the Panthers, just because that would be funny.
  9. He wants to go to Dallas, which is not a place to get rings either. At least since Jerry Jones started playing GM.
  10. If the Bills win this game, at the very least the "Aaron Rodgers redemption story" plot arc will be put to rest. Now if Taylor Swift would hurry up and dump Travis Kelce, we could get back to the "Cowboys choking in the playoffs" narrative that I know and love so much. The Jets win, but they stretch their TD-less quarters streak to 15?
  11. Half this message board is ready to send Josh Allen, the "Scottie Pippin of QBs," on that trip.
  12. God, this all feels so familiar. Everybody hates us again.
  13. I think that McDermott does need to go at this point because 6 years of not winning a Super Bowl is long enough to require change. But you're not wrong about people's spicy takes. One human behavior that is amplified by the Internet is a desire to be proven correct. It's just part of conformation bias which is hardwired into our brains. There are posters here would would rather have a 7-year-old hot take be proven right than to see the win football games. I have the Josh Allen draft thread bookmarked so that when I see an over-the-top post about Josh I can go back and look for their over-the-top draft night post. It never fails. And no, for all the "realists" here Josh Allen is not above criticism. But calling for him to be traded with his 99 million-dollar dead cap hit is beyond criticism.
  14. He's not alone there. Tua fumbles snaps in pressure moments often enough to call it a pattern. In Josh's case, in all of those plays that you cite, he started running the play before he got the ball.
  15. It looks vanilla to us because there is not a lot of presnap eye candy. It's the opposite of what Miami runs.
  16. You don't fire a coach who has won as many games as McDermott until they bottom out. They are currently bottoming out. We'll see where the bills go from here. I have no idea how Staley still has a job with Kellen Moore already on the staff. The bigger question is why is Joe Brady taking over for Dorsey instead of Mike Shula? Mike Shula has had success as an OC in the NFL and is already on staff in Buffalo. Maybe he didn't want the job?
  17. I just remember last year Josh saying that he was in “year 5” of being in the offense. Even Tom Brady said that Josh Allen is running his New England offense. That’s why I thought that.
  18. If he can’t motivate himself for a must-win revenge game, then he is beyond redemption.
  19. It’s actually still Daboll’s offense that he brought from New England. Time for a new playbook this offseason.
  20. Not a single person, from the owner on down, worked with both McDermott and Brady in Carolina. Well, maybe some security staff, but no one in the football organization. The current coaching ties to McDermott and Beane are all in Washington. It’s actually still Daboll’s offense. Part of Dorsey’s problem was that he wasn’t calling from his own playbook.
  21. And Marv Leavy for GM. What could go wrong.
