  1. Way worse. O'Connell was a two year starter at Purdue who had over 3,000 passing yards in each of those seasons and over 20 TD passes. He was actually drafted. He's not a top prospect, but he is an actual prospect. Boyle is only on the Jets because he's friends with the GM Aaron Rodgers.
  2. That's the same dang play run more or less at the exact same time.
  3. That looks like a man to me who is painfully shy. It doesn't come through in his game, but it does in all of his media interactions.
  4. How soon we forget: https://www.masslive.com/patriots/2021/11/mac-jones-is-better-than-what-tom-brady-was-in-first-year-as-starter-kurt-warner-says.html
  5. How in the heck didn't the Jets call Nick Foles after week 1? I just don't get it.
  6. He transferred to Eastern Kentucky for his senior year and threw for over 2,000 yards in 10 games. For some reason those stats are not on his Sports Reference page: https://ekusports.com/sports/football/roster/tim-boyle/6455
  7. Maybe letting Aaron Rodgers be your GM wasn't the best idea after all.
  8. Part of what happened yesterday was that the Jets' defense finally broke down in the second half. You could see it with all the hits after the play. You could see the frustration boiling over. They have to be absolutely sick and tired of trying to carry that inept offense to close victories week after week. Players on defense are going to start holding out and/or demanding trades.
  9. The more interesting question is do you cut Johnson to add Fournette? Because that's probably what you would have to do.
  10. Dinics roast pork sandwich was the best thing I ever eat. Better than any cheese steak.
  11. That’s the most points that the Jets defense has given up this season. And we probably ended Zach Wilson’s career as a Jet. Trevor Simeon is on the PS.
  12. NFL wants the Aaron Rodgers redemption story. No other explanation for these calls.
  13. They all want to call the Playoff game in Miami in January. It’s like a post-holiday vacation.
  14. Why is that not intentional grounding on Pickett?
  15. Either way it's bad for us. I guess Steelers today and Bengals next week?
  16. I just saw a 6-3 team run two plays from the Wildcat. 2023 is a strange year.
  17. They say that he will play on Christmas Eve against Washington. But he may be saying that to keep the Jets hopes up so that they continue trying to win.
  18. 2021 week 17. Zach started and played the whole game. Bills won 27-10.
  19. In the post above yours, he admits that he didn't read it.
  20. That team had a really good performance in a loss to Tom Brady and the Bucs and a really easy stretch of games to end the year. They also struggled in some of those easy games, but everyone on TBD seems to forget the Atlanta snow game which might have had a different outcome if Matt Ryan knew where the goal line was. It will be a much steeper hill to climb this time.
  21. I can't find any justification for the rule change in 2005. What I did find was this article (from Utah of all places) arguing that it's a modern version of the old wedge play from the early days of American football and used to actually kill people: https://www.deseret.com/2023/1/20/23563232/nfl-rule-that-allows-players-to-push-ball-carriers-forward-went-wrong-direction
