  1. I watched him a lot on Saturdays and he didn’t look significantly better than Justin Fields. In 2019, his only full season at OSU, Fields threw for over 3.000 yards with 41 TD and 3 INTs. Ryan Day’s offensive system just produces those numbers.
  2. And he’s a better pro QB than he was a college QB.
  3. Second biggest national fan base in the league.
  4. Well, it is a home game so why not give the fans a show?
  5. And from what I know here in Cincinnati, what really hurts Von Miller is that he doesn’t play for the Cowboys. Bengals players get charges dropped all the time because the prosecutor is a season ticket holder. The same thing was true with the previous prosecuted. If this wasn’t the case, Pac Man Jones and Joe Mixon would have had their days in court.
  6. Sure didn’t get that called against him with the Pats.
  7. You just wait until Kool-Aid McKinstry hits the league. He'll be able to tackle WRs and the LoS with no calls with a name as great as that.
  8. #2 WRs. In fact, #2 WRs are the solutions to all of lifes problems. Want to win a SB? Sign a better #2 WR. Diagnosed with cancer? Sign a #2 WR. World hunger? Just sign a #2 WR and everyone eats at Red Lobster for free.
  9. What you're saying is that after beating up his girlfriend, he went right to the airport, bought a one-way ticket to Buffalo, went right to OBD, and hit the sleds? Genius move. They'll never find him.
  10. There still hasn't been a report of Von Miller turning himself in.
  11. For those unwilling to read anything other than the OP, this is the latest info:
  12. Strange that they gave the address. There is only one residential building on that block. I now know that Von Miller has/had a condo in the Bleu Ciel complex: https://bleucielliving.com/
  13. It's because he drafts guys with elite traits who sometimes lack college production/coaching. That way he gets draft value, but they take longer to develop. Teams like the Eagles draft guys from Alabama and Georgia who have played at the highest level and are ready for big games in their first season.
  14. It was against the rules to assist a player in any way until 2005. Then they allowed an offensive player to be pushed (but not pulled) for some reason. No team weaponized it until Siriani devised this wedge play that is right from the 1908 Harvard-Yale game.
  15. They can have short, non-padded practices on Monday-Wednesday but no team ever does that.
  16. I hate threads like this. We've been discussing this for hours, but people come in, read the OP, and then respond with the same comments/questions that have been debunked ten pages ago. No, Von Miller's massive contract would have a higher dead cap hit (over 30 million) next year than if he was on the roster. You still have to take the dead cap hit even if his contract is voided due to conduct. The Raiders had to carry Ruggs dead money for two seasons.
  17. There are rules about practice during the bye week in the CBA. They could have had single 3-hour non-padded practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but no team does that. You would get a really bad reputation around the league amongst players for not giving them the whole bye week off. Most players go on vacation. I know that we want them to have fully-padded two-a-day practices with Oklahoma drills to punish them for our anguish over all the losing, but that's not how it works.
  18. Cowherd has been saying for years that "teams can't win with a defensive head coach," and then advocates for Belichick.
  19. NFL salary cap rules are insane. Next year, Von's dead cap hit is higher than the cap hit of keeping him on the roster.
