I agree with everything here, but your point was even stronger given the fact that TEN was the #1 seed in 2021. They lost a close game to the #4 seeded Bengals in the divisional round.
The Bucs terminated this contract the day after he "retired."

Rams are currently third on the waiver order list. SF is 27th.

I just checked the Rams board. Posters are mad at what they refer to as "McSneed" for putting the team in the position of needing to make a move like this because they traded all the draft picks. SB win or not, fans hate GMs and coaches.
A Bronco's beat writer reported after week one that Russ has his own office in the stadium and watches film by himself instead of with the rest of the offense or QB room.
I just have this image of Skip telling a dude about the kick his ass to wait a minute while he carefully folds his Member's Only jacket and tucks in his shirt.
I understand the firing, but doing this midseason for a team that will almost certainly make the playoffs seems a bit strange. There has to be more to this story than we know.
This probably has everything to do with the fact that they play the Browns this week. The Browns have beaten the Bengals 5 times in a row. In the last game, Burrow was sacked 5 times. They match up well with KC, but they’ll lose some of these final 5 games.
It's crazy how far he has fallen since 2020. That year he led the Browns to the playoffs with 3,563 yards, 26 TDs and 8 INTs. Now he can't stick on the Carolina Panthers.
I just posted on another thread that the Bills haven't played a real bottom feeder this year. The Steelers are not a good team, but they play teams close. Same goes for the Lions and Browns. When the Bills played the Rams, they had a healthy Stafford and Kupp. Probably the worst team the Bills played were the Packers. This is all to say that I cannot wait for the Bears game.
Looking back on this season, the Bills haven't played an actually bad team since the Steelers game. The Browns and Lions are losing games, but they don't get blown out. If we got to play the Colts, we would score a bunch.
Brock Purdy was actually really good at Iowa State. I watched some of their games because of all the table-pounding for Breece Hall. He easily could go on a Zappe-like run and lead SF to the playoffs. This is especially true because the Shanahan system doesn't demand much from QBs.
