  1. I saw a healthy rotation at the nose. Edwards, Heard and Troupe played some snaps at it. I would have to watch the game againg to fully understand or know what were the gaps they were playing.
  2. I thought Fitz was out of the game after that (clean) hit by Fletcher. Good thing he could come back.
  3. We had our 3rd string LT starting too. You have to overcome your injuries and we did today. Hopefully Hairston or Bell can come back next week.
  4. If there is a zombie outbreak in my city in the summmer, those !@#$ers could die again, the humidity here is unbearable.
  5. Lalo is an old timer so the brunt of his work comes in 70' and 80'. His fussion of jazz and bossa nova was a trade mark of his. The theme of Starsky & Hutch is his, he wrote the core of Bullit and Enter the Dragon. The guy was a heavy weight in the disco era. Get Smart was a fixture in Argentinian television and we couldn't get enough of it. Dom Adams was amazing.
  6. Lalo Schifrin is a famous movie and TV music composer. Maybe you heard this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9XO85CF2d4&feature=autoplay&list=PLE69F76364FFAD514&index=90&playnext=3
  7. My link Why can't I upload an image? Am I doing something wrong?
  8. I hope we don't IRd' Davis because of this move, he's good teammate and mentor for the young guys.
  9. Yes, on the first one all the Giants defense focused on Freddy, I believe Spiller would have scored untouched on that one.
  10. I've said on another thread last night, Dallas played not to win on that final drive.
  11. He has sure hands and defenses have to respect his speed, that is why he was so open on those curls or comeback routes. He is a dangerous player. BTW, I'm still waiting for Spiller to run that end around and scoring a long TD. Spiller would line up wide to the right on a 3WR set, he would motion back inside and while Fitz hands the ball to Freddy he fakes the end around. We ran it twice and on both plays the defense keyed strictly on Freddy. I was hoping Chan could run the play one more time giving the ball to Spiller, I'm sure he would have scored.
  12. It's curious that out of the same situation you felt we're in panick mode and I felt the exact same opposite, we're driving and Gailey & Fitz were just attacking the Giants' weaknesses, the secondary. Did you feel we were panicking after the PA pass to Nelson for a 32 yard gain on that same drive?
  13. One is a doofus and the other is a douchebag, you do the math.
  14. good call, bad execution.
  15. I didn't say he's perfect, not even close, but last week and the weeks before this one, he was our most consistent CB. I was just pointing out that sometimes you have great days at work and sometimes you have days like today.
  16. Last week he secured the game for us (with Barnett's help) today he was awful. It happens a lot in this business, or so it seems.
  17. Anyone noticed how great Gailey pulled the strings after we were stuffed on 3rd and 1? After they stopped us, the play clock read 1:33. Gailey kept the offense on the field and that stopped Coughlin from using a TO. By doing this, Gailey milked the clock, took the FG and left only 33 seconds for Eli to try for a FG. Obviously, I think he would have gone for it had he not deffered the coint toss. When the play ended: 3-1-NYG 31 (1:33) 22-F.Jackson right guard to NYG 31 for no gain (90-J.Pierre-Paul, 72-O.Umenyiora). When Eli took the ball 1-10-NYG 21 (:34) (Shotgun) 44-A.Bradshaw left tackle to NYG 30 for 9 yards (50-N.Barnett, 91-Sp.Johnson). Though it may not be natural to ask Carrington to cover a TE he was not responsible for Manningham, who was the only wide out on the play. FWIW he covered the TE well enough for Eli to look elsehwere. Chan "Balls of steel" Gailey, I will never feel dissapionted with a coach that goes for win. Unless he starts going crazy and going for it on 4th down on our territory I'm ok with him trusting his players. damn right.
  18. Yeah, that was smart football............. That is playing not to win and I'm happy Gailey isn't like that. Jauronesque move by the Dallas HC.
  19. +1 I hate this reactive threads, lazy thought process without an ounce of objectivity.
  20. I hate the Cheatriots more, go Romo!
  21. Maybe they are being taught this technique but sometimes the player doesn't have the presence of mind to execute the play. Given Catavolos' longevitiy as a coach I would give him the benefit of the doubt.
  22. Bill Cowher recommended Chan Gailey to Nix and everytime he talks about the Bills in that CBS pre-game show he talks the Bills up. Even Marino speaks highly of the Bills (must be some reverse jinx he's trying)
