TT is the leader of the offense, he should have said something to Roman. He needs to step up and own this offense, call protections, call audibles, change plays, etc
I guess it's easier for him to practice in the Bills facilities than on his own, plus Carpenter wouldn't have to wear down his legs during the season by kicking in practice. I understand that we might be better of giving the PS spot to a more valuable position, though.
I didn't have a problem with the DL until Dareus suspension. We have good depth there but we will have to run blitz a lot on those four games and we will get exposed at times. LB will have to step up as well in the first quarter of the season.
I don't expect TT to regress but he has to take a couple of steps forward for this team to make the playoffs.
I don't usually blame injuries but they can be catastrophic for a team. (see Vikings)
Looking strictly within our most recent roster:
TE Blake Annen, if neck injury cheks out
DL Lavar Edwards
ILB Randell Johnson
WR Dez Lewis
OT Marquis Lucas
OG Cyril Richardson
DT Justin ZImmer
LB Max Valles
LB Eric Striker
K Jordan Gay
I don't like Lawson being cut, while he's not a star he is always in the right position. I always thought of him as a fundamentally sound player that knew his job very well within the system.
Time will tell if this move was the correct one.
