  1. It was just an early PS list, without looking at other teams cuts. If we could improve from them, obviously, for the better.
  2. according to BB.com he's still eligible to the PS.
  3. I guess it's easier for him to practice in the Bills facilities than on his own, plus Carpenter wouldn't have to wear down his legs during the season by kicking in practice. I understand that we might be better of giving the PS spot to a more valuable position, though.
  4. I for one didn't read it, I just wanted to add something to your first post.
  5. I didn't have a problem with the DL until Dareus suspension. We have good depth there but we will have to run blitz a lot on those four games and we will get exposed at times. LB will have to step up as well in the first quarter of the season. I don't expect TT to regress but he has to take a couple of steps forward for this team to make the playoffs. I don't usually blame injuries but they can be catastrophic for a team. (see Vikings)
  6. Looking strictly within our most recent roster: TE Blake Annen, if neck injury cheks out DL Lavar Edwards ILB Randell Johnson WR Dez Lewis OT Marquis Lucas OG Cyril Richardson DT Justin ZImmer LB Max Valles LB Eric Striker K Jordan Gay
  7. The Rams released some guy named Jake Stoneburner, great name, we have to have him......
  8. I don't like Lawson being cut, while he's not a star he is always in the right position. I always thought of him as a fundamentally sound player that knew his job very well within the system. Time will tell if this move was the correct one.
  9. I think Seamster is trying to make the Lions roster....
  10. Ed flappy guns Hochuli, loves some camera time.
  11. He should retire and play golf while he can.
  12. DC: Dan Carpenter, looking sharp tonight.
  13. he probably isn't a good playcaller as DC but a good teacher as a positional coach, who knows?
  14. yes, no more turning heads and arm flapping by the members of the D at the time of the snap. Better communication, less thinking more reaction, even Spikes was a whole lot better than a week ago against the Colts.
  15. Maybe I forgot about the play you're referring but I saw Cujo beat cleanly once last night, against Vernon Olivier with a quick move inside where EJ had no chance. Some players need time to develop and as KTD pointed out, Cujo was a very young rookie by NFL standards and wasn't ready to come in and step up to that RT spot.
  16. I think the coaches gave Gay an opportunity to compete as FG kicker to see if they can make Carpenter expendable, don't forget that this year, with as many injuries and suspensions that specialist spot became a luxury we can't have. Safe to say, Carpenter's job is secure after last night.
