the throws that didn't count last night, were the rookie's most impressive throws. two negated by illegal formation penalties on third and long (3rd and 7 and 3rd and 11) and two negated by drops, the back shoulder to Zay Jones for a long gain and another from Clay. (on the scoring drive) All of those four passes would have kept the chains moving. I like Peterman but I don't want him starting right now if Taylor is healthy.

I agree with your list, I would add a couple of things Adolphus Washington scooping up the forced fumble (by Alexander) with one hand and on the run, that was impressive. Mabin stealing the ball from the Eagles WR for an interception, odd play. Jerel Worthy seems to be off-sides everytime he lines up. Maybe it's me. Max Valles had a good night with a sack and a couple of pressures on the QB. Nice to see an EJ and a Ma(y)bin making positive plays for this team.....

The Bellichick way works because he has Brady and as douchy as Brady may be or seem, he works for the Patriots at a very cap friendly deal. If he wanted to really get paid what he's worth, the Patriots wouldn't have the money to pay 53 players.

I read an interview where Streater said he had the same problem Sammy had but on both his feet. He had two good years with the Raiders with the stats and playing time on the upswing, then came the injuries. He's obviously healthy now, so it's probably the natural thing that he makes the team, because he's a good, consistent player. Having Holmes as athe fifth WR with Tate as the special team player can't be considered a bad thing for this team.

What's the coaches reaction to pre-snap penalties?

Aaron Schobel made a lot of big plays, but the team was not good enough to close those games with a W. I remember that season opener where Schobel intercepted a screen pass from Brady for a score to put the Bills ahead. Most teams would have won with that defensive play, but not us. Had we won that game we would all list that play as a top ten defensive play.
