  1. Suggestion - after you get the results of this poll, take the top two guys off the poll and replace them with the bottom two qbs and/or the next two players down the list and run another poll.
  2. I consider the most notable deficiency letting Legarrette Blount run wild, but I guess that's just me.
  3. Just keep in mind for the first time Buddy isn't running the show this year and Whaley *may* not have a need to bring the projected pick in. I think the chance is Whaley will, but there is a difference this year.
  4. Good thoughts, thanks. Hopefully the interviewing process will provide valuable info on these issues. I have heard that teams like to bring in guys if there are lingering questions. Could also be some pre-draft shenanigans to make someone think they could go corner based on the early season issues we had.
  5. Maybe thinking safety ala Byrd?
  6. I have read something to the effect of "if Watkins is there at nine the Bills will sprint to the podium" written by Chris Brown on the BB.com blog.
  7. Robertson? Guarantee you'll be selecting him, whoever he is, You should go to 9 anyway, just in case. Not to mention a trade down.
  8. Can you get Drafttek on the list to choose from? They've added the other two...
  9. The one thing I'm thinking about in conjunction with this info is roster space. So at rb, Dixon is a ST guy so if they draft someone do they have space to keep him on the active roster? Maybe a player will force them to make room, but I don't know if they would plan to draft someone in rounds 2-4 if they didn't have a roster spot available for them. So I think you have room at OT, WR, TE, QB, DE, S.
  10. Thanks for the info, that's interesting. Is there a personality problem or is it more physical talent?
  11. I think if the qb's fall, it gets a little thinner at 9, don't you? I guess I doubt we would take any of the qb's. The 3 OT's may be gone, and I just don't think Evans stands out enough compared to what's available in the 2nd. Could be deciding between Mosely, Ebron, Dix maybe a dline given Schwartz. I'm not saying it's probable, but I wouldn't be surprised given how this draft is shaping up.
  12. I'm not going to be shocked if it happens. Looks to be our biggest need now post FA and it's not like he's rated in the bottom half of the round. Plus with the depth in the draft we can get a good wr in the 2nd and an ORT in the third.
  13. Guess you still could have been at Jeter's place then.
  14. I just don't get why he wasn't tagged, although I was for having him play it out instead of trading him. We could have shored up the roster this year and let him go next year and hopefully not have needed as many FA's with the idea of getting a pick for him. So we would get some use out of him to win games this year and hopefully get the comp pick in 2016. It's over now though.
  15. Good. This will allow us to draft a TE after we make the playoffs.
  16. Just a guess, but if Pepper loved him that much I think he would have at least visited by now.
  17. I think Jerry Hughes when I see him play.
  18. Was there some Yankees memorabilia in the limo?
  19. When the CBA was first signed, there was talk of a minimum spend percentage for teams based on the cap. I don't hear about that playing into the general thoughts I've read about this years free agency from anyone. Wasn't that supposed to be kicking in by now, or is that next year?
  20. Are the new mods locked and loaded?
  21. I've gotta admire a chick that doesn't pad the bar. And the top doesn't hurt either.
  22. Pick 9: Taylor Lewan OT Michigan Pick 41: Donte Moncrief WR Ole Miss Pick 73: Yawin Smallwood ILB Connecticut Pick 105: Zach Mettenberger QB LSU Pick 137: Laman Barrow ILB LSU Pick 169: Kirby Van Der Camp P Iowa State Pick 201: Vinnie Sunseri SS Alabama
  23. I like how he covers TE's, which it seems for the first time in a long time did not kill us last year.
  24. The players that hire him want to maximize their value, just like Peters did. There were some front offices that actually liked dealing with him because he did his homework when he set his value for a player. The team knew where they stood and could take it or leave it, there wasn't much negotiating. Someone had posted a good link a while back about how Parker operates (maybe when Peters left) and it was a good read. I think I remember reading that Parker usually finds someone to hire his client at the value he believes is fair. Does anyone know if the Bills have ever re-signed one of Parker's clients?
