  1. The Jerry's kids here make it fun. Think of the meaningful contribution you've made yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back.
  2. So 2 days and 2 pages in, is there a Trump lie yet? Should he have a counter of consecutive Trump days without a lie?
  3. Trump would have been better served to fire Comey just after inauguration. Certainly the guy deserved to be fired for what has been made public regarding both the Clinton and Trump investigations.
  4. Dem playbook: 1st down - Trump bad 2nd down - Buy votes with other people's money 3rd down - More government control 4th down - Punt from their own 1 yard line
  5. Here you go Tibs and others, post Trump lies here. It's best if you include a link to the lie and evidence of it being a lie. Let 'em rip.
  6. You and Comey. Comey stated the other day that Trump lies when he states Treason occurred. It's not a lie. It's a matter of opinion. Their opinions disagree. Neither yet has been proved to be correct. Too many people consider statements of which they disagree to be lies. Next time Trump lies in your view, post it here.
  7. Very possible. It's also possible that Mueller wanted a chance to say something in response to all that Trump has said about him over the past couple years. Not a lot of love between those two and especially Mueller's staff. Where Mueller lost me today was in his praise of his staff. Too many of them were Dem supporters or in the case of Weissman, questionable in character. How that guy can even work in government at all is beyond me. Having Strzok on the team (even though he was later removed) is a big hit to Mueller's credibility as Strzok's bias and some of his previous actions were known at that time. Terrible decision to put him there. Mueller publishing volume 2 was a political favor to the "uniparty" or a function of the SC's disdain for Trump. I've only read a few pages of volume 2, but I haven't seen/heard/read any report from Trump's detractors that states the evidence of obstruction and how does it violate a statute and which statute.
  8. Maybe all this ends with Dems coming to the very final conclusion that Trump is a jerk, the only theory of their many that they can prove. We knew that long before he was President.
  9. https://www.politico.com/video/2016/07/obama-says-clinton-is-the-most-qualified-presidential-candidate-ever-059832
  10. He helped Michael Dukakis win the Dem nomination in '88?
  11. I think Comey was significantly used by his superiors. He was the public face of the faux Clinton investigation. Many of the team that carried out the Trump/Page surveillance and investigation reported to him and nobody's gonna believe that the FBI and portions of the DOJ carried out these investigations in the fashion they did without "orders" from the top. Comey's guilty of being a good soldier and he's still playing that role. He's sacrificed his credibility for the cause. Principled and misguided.
  12. But the media and the DNC will tamp her down.
  13. He's nuts. Not even Dems with majorities will enact Medicare for all or order reparations..
  14. I think he's wearing shoes on his knees.
  15. Which is why free college is a bad idea. The dropout rate will rise significantly and taxpayers should not pay for people not to finish. People can still work their way through college if they are determined to get a college education, especially with all the online course availability now.
  16. One of the worst tweets Trump has ever written.
  17. There are many very well regarded universities in the Midwest and admissions to them are very very competitive. Under represented races (and genders in more gender concentrated majors) have been given preference for a long time. Financial aid and "scholarships" are awarded based on financial disclosures pretty readily. IMO and from what I've seen with my own 3 kids that went to college the schools have already developed their own diversity and adversity admissions practices.
  18. Asset values to a great extent won't be found on a tax return. Tax laws don't "help" Trump. He is simply required to follow the laws like anyone else. Components in the tax laws that reduce a person or a company's tax obligation are widely known among Congress people. If they want to eliminate some of the non-cash deductions that real estate developers are likely to use (such as depreciation or 1031 exchanges) then they can work to change the laws. Fat chance they do that as many of them have real estate holdings.
  19. Will be interesting to see if the ACT follows suit. The SAT isn't used that much in the Midwest, the ACT is the dominant test. ACT will be forced to if schools want the adversity score. Most schools though are already using much of the same data that's in the SAT adversity score as they capture that info on applications.
  20. The Truth? Mueller's entire report with little redaction was published. No filter on it.
  21. He's simply putting the competition thing out there to light a fire under Carr.
  22. Do us all a favor and go read the Obstruction Statutes and then read the Mueller report front to back and base your next post on this matter on that experience.
