Nixon's poor conduct (covering up a political burglary which even his critics admit he had no prior knowledge) has been exceeded in terms of severity countless time by Obama and his crew IMO (and by other administrations frankly). The standards now of right and wrong in our society are so relaxed in comparison to the early 70's. The Benghazi coverup is worse by large magnitude. People were killed but Obama and Hillary were more interested in their own politcal asses than addressing it openly. The liberal stance is so anti-military that not even defending our own diplomats in a life and death situation is a priority.

Heck we ain't cryin'. We've racked up $17T in debt and we're well positioned to get our government checks and benefits. It's the younger gens that should be crying and kicking and screaming at us. If the younger generation were paying attention, we'd have the most sweeping conservative movement in the history of the country right now. Instead, the younger gens are electing politicians who are deeply committed to spending and buying votes with money that is printed, borrowed and taken from "the rich". The younger generations are absolutely !@#$ing themsleves. Their suicide numbers will be off the charts.

Every Prius owner gets a free membership to the ADL (Anti-Destination League) when they buy the car. It is their duty as members to prevent people from getting places.

Prius owners should pay more taxes because they drive too slow and are responsible for millions of lost man/woman hours every year as they cause others who are stuck behind them to be on the roads longer than necessary. One of these days I'm gonna buy a used Prius and convert it to V-8 power just to piss off all the lefties. I think it's hysterical. A tax that hits mostly the libs. Love it. Might be. From both a business and news perspective that would have been a good move. Certainly the majority of networks go out of their way to protect and support the liberal agenda. My point was this approach is both bad for their business and bad journalism. We simply live in an age where you have to look at multiple sources to get any broad view of what's going on an you have to be aware of the slant from which it's being delivered. Fox doesn't have to share their audience with the others which is why they have the best market share.

What exactly is the AK47 problem? What is it that you're trying to fix? I would agree that background checks should be done at gun shows and for online sales. The difficulty with this is where do you draw the line of approval or not especially with the emotionally disturbed? It can be done but writing those rules is tough. I suppose we can argue about large clips. None of these things fix the Sandy Hook problem or Colorado or Tucson and the politicians know that. The simple fact is that many of the dems in Washington would support a ban on private citizens owning any guns because they simply believe the government should control such things along with income, health care and an ever growing array of entitlements. The suggestion that schools have armed policeman on the premises was laughed off by dems. Fortunately local governments can put armed policemen in schools if they so choose. Here in a nice low crime suburb of Chicago, we have had armed policemen in our schools since shortly after 9/11/01 and there is tremendous support in our community for this.

CNN has to share the lefty audience with so many other networks. Fox has a near monopoly on the right leaning audience. For years I've been thinking that some other network would wise-up and change their reporting to more balanced reporting simply because it would be good for business. Apparently not. Apparently ideology for NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC and others trumps both fairness and the opportunity to increase viewership and revenue.

I've got a big one for you. The 30 and unders should be the group most concerned with our debt and deficits. They will shoulder the largest burden as the boomers exit the workforce and bloat the medicare and SS programs. Frankly they should be kicking and screaming about this and they should be overwhelmingly supporting politicians who are fiscally conservative. They should also be royally pissed at the older generations for having a big ole expensive party and leaving them the bill.

Agree about Rand Paul and hope you are right on the rest but I feel otherwise. Since Reagan, the demographics of our nation have shifted along with attitudes. I saw it reported somewhere that under 30's in the 2012 election voted more (about 61%) democrat than in any election since Reagan and that the number has been trending up. Gotta hope the pendulum moves back the other way soon. Positive Liberal influences are everywhere in spite of the common sense view that their agenda is mostly terribly misguided.

Harris-Perry fails to realize that many communities now are cranking out bunches of crappy kids and have been for decades. Many of these kids don't have "parents" so I suppose the blame must rest with the communities.
