I don't think it's being thin-skinned. It's more due to lack of control where control is a major pillar of progressivism. That and his only child upbringing.

It's being done with health care, food stamps, schooling, work permits and now tax rebates. Voting rights are next.

Hey, if all this spending is such a good thing, why not just write checks to businesses and let them to spend it on wages and other business expenses. Leave the debt on the gub'mint forever and really get this economy humming. I see no reason for the government to filter the spending to specific areas. Hand out the cash to businesses where it can get into the economy quickly. Gator, what do you think of this and how big can we go?

So using the numbers from your article, I see that the percentage of low income people has dropped since '67, the percentage of upper income has increased and the middle class has shrunk some. That looks like a great story to me. Fewer that are low income and more that are upper income. Fewer in the middle. This is all good. Shows a migration from the middle class to upper income.

Larry certainly has a point of view and a political slant but he backs up his arguments quite well with numbers and facts and does so to a far greater degree than most "opinion" hosts.
