Shirley you jest. Obama added about $10T in debt. Don't argue they all do it. It sucks. Health care cost for private insurance more than doubled during his years and much of that directly due to his signature legislation. Millions more illegal immigrants entered the country and he turned the border patrol and ICE into a port of entry greeting staff and travel agents. He kicked the can down the road WRT to our ME problems, ISIS and NK. Trump is cleaning that up. His economic stimulus was record deficit spending and more taxation and we got record debt and tepid growth. Oh boy does it take some smarts and know how to tax more and spend more. He appointed 2 SC justices 1 of which (Kagan) is a legal lightweight and both have clearly have acted on ideology rather than law in some of the larger cases. He left the military in a lousy state of readiness according to many. He's even a failure to his own party as he destroyed the Democrat brand, lost majorities in the house, senate and many dem governors. He gave the country Trump just as Bush 2 gave the country Obama. He flat out sucked as a president and only poor memories can erase that opinion in the minds of most.

I went to 2 TEA Party gatherings several years ago. Attendees were business owners and a lot of white and blue collar people and not all male and not all white. Fairly diverse in professions and backgrounds really. A couple local politicians also. The overwhelming priorities were government fiscal responsibility, border security and illegal immigration enforcement, personal responsibility, gun rights, health insurance reform (after Obamacare) and strong American foreign policy (not war necessarily). Frankly I've never been with a group before or since that had their political priorities in better order. If somehow that agenda could have been carried out in Washington the last 10 years, we'd be much better for it as a nation. As for the local politicians that were there, they were certainly Republicans and it's refreshing when the local pols actually get it and have some common sense. It's those that get to Washington that are all !@#$ed up. Apparently it's tough to get elected at the Federal level with common sense and a good set of priorities or if someone has that, it all goes out the window in the name of the party once they get to Washington. What the media and the left did to the TEA party is just shameful, but they're good at destroying a brand.

Andrew McCabe Under Investigation by Grand Jury
keepthefaith replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Base on Papadapa however you spell it, McCabe could be looking at 42 days in jail. -
He chose the largest safezone in the state. The largest University.

The Punter Situation/New Punter
keepthefaith replied to BillsFan692's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should we be concerned about the punter change? He's also the holder on kicks which is quite important and punting-wise you've got to be reliable and on target. You have to catch the ball in crappy weather and in your own end zone. A big leg isn't everything. -

This is all good these gloomy forecasts. Will give the players more motivation starting in just a few days. They are playing possibly the most over rated team in the NFL this weekend. Flacco now sucks and their offense is pretty pedestrian. Defense is over rated as they played against a lot of crappy offensive teams last year. Take a look, they played a garbage schedule last year and couldn't make the playoffs. They won't win more than 6 games this year and will be under .500 in their own division, swept by Steelers and Bengals. Very winnable game for the Bills Sunday. Seriously, the Ravens suck. Nothing to fear. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/2017.htm

Yeah, when they announce their new knee pad line tomorrow they'll be considered marketing geniuses.
-
Absolutely do, but there are many profit options out there that won't tie me to CK in any way outside of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.
-
Maybe but it has a PE of 68 even at today's "bargain" price and a crappy dividend. I'm willing to sacrifice the profit opp for what I believe in.
-
Only a $3 billion hit to market cap today which is a sacrifice by shareholders. We'll see where it goes from here.

Most here have probably watched this, but if it's been a year or more have another look. It's worthwhile in today's context.

The Punter Situation/New Punter

I think money was a factor. The bills invested millions in AJ and Coleman. New punter claws back a little of that. -
Pre Season's Over, Post Your W/L Prediction

Agree 5-11, but they are marginally better at RB and WR. Still hopeful a couple guys on the Oline will step it up.
