Asperatus Clouds, A New Cloud Type Discovered.
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I like Asperatus on the grill with butter and olive oil. -
Posts like this drive me insane. If you don't want to spend your money on Bills tickets, don't buy them! If I want to spend my $54 for a full day of fun, it's really of no concern to you. I thoroughly enjoy grilling, having a few beers, and spending time with my family and friends at the games. By all means let your wallet do your talking and if enough people agree with you then good for you. I have a hunch you will be pretty lonely sitting home bitching about the rest of us "sheep".

Terrell Owens on Sirius NFL Radio NOW!
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to extrahammer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Loves Buffalo, fans have embraced him, Edwards will be great if given time to throw. Didn't get goaded into trashing Dallas. Talked about his charity work and how the media never report the good stuff. Better? -

Rogers group to buy Rams?

Agreed, and the ones we meet at the games tend to hate the idea of going to games in Toronto because of the lack of tailgating and atmosphere. -
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/29...-dropped-obama/ The three black panthers, Minister King Samir Shabazz, Malik Zulu Shabazz and Jerry Jackson were charged in a civil complaint in the final days of the Bush administration with violating the voter rights act by using coercion, threats and intimidation. Shabazz allegedly held a nightstick or baton that prosecutors said he pointed at people and menacingly tapped it. Prosecutors also say he "supports racially motivated violence against non-blacks and Jews." The complaint says the men hurled racial slurs at both blacks and whites. A poll watcher who provided an affidavit to prosecutors in the case noted that Bartle Bull, who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the south in the 1960's and is a former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy, said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen.

Just saw the comercial for the new Wii Punch Out and it looks great. I have fond memories of playing that game in my younger days. Seems like a perfect game for the Wii. Comes out tomorrow.

I have a NO MA'AM shirt! I'm in. We need more Al Bundy quotes! "That's what being a man is all about, Steve. Making mistakes and not caring." "Yeah, doggone it. If we could only be comfortable with our age like you darn gals. You know, I mean, in the morning you go into the bathroom, a little blush, a little mascara and voila. You got an old woman scared of rain. Then you try and clean and jerk your breasts into a bra, ease some exercise pants over that front and back belly, go down to the market and flirt with the bag boy. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's just pretty pathetic when we guys try to cling to our youth." "Hooters, hooters, yum yum yum. Hooters hooters on a girl that's dumb." "I've seen her from the front, I've seen her from the back. / I've seen her in a chair, I've seen her in a sack. / I've seen her stand, I've seen her crouch. / I've seen her on her stupid couch. / I do not like her in the mall, I do not like her in the hall. / I do not like her in my life, I do not like my big red wife." and of course! "Let's rock."

Buy Black Experiment
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I do think there is a perception that certain American products can only compete with foriegn products if we place additional taxes or restrictions on foriegn goods. Just look at the auto industry. I know I am being a little naive in thinking that the best business model and superior service should be the determining factor of whether a business succeeds. Is it OK to encourage people to only shop in stores owned by people of your own race? I think it is an interesting experiment that the original couple performed and I'm sure it helps to illustrate their point. If they were truly just doing this to raise awareness about the lack of black businesspeople, they could have stopped short of encouraging other blacks to only patronize black businesses. I think at that point it crosses over from research to racism. -
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,519965,00.html "Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago vowed four months ago that for one year, they would try to patronize only black-owned businesses. The "Empowerment Experiment" is the reason John had to suffer for hours with a stomach ache and Maggie no longer gets that brand-name lather when she washes her hair. A grocery trip is a 14-mile odyssey." "We've still got that 'the white man's water is colder' mentality," he said. "We can't take us for granted. When we go to our establishments, it's almost like we're doing a favor. That ought to be a given for us." It seems to me that this is the type of divisive behavior that will harm race relations. I see what they are trying to do, but it just doesn't seem quite right. How will anyone take a black business owner seriously if they think the only reason they are succeeding is because black people refuse to shop at the white owned store due to the race of the owner?

It can't be a quote thread without the wise ramblings of Peter Griffin! "The deep south? Isn't that the place where the black guys are really lazy and all the white guys are just as lazy but they're mad at the black guys for being so lazy?" Lois Griffin: "Peter, have you been up all night watching chick movies?" Peter Griffin: "Lois, before I found these movies, women only made me cry through my penis. Now they make me cry through my eyes."

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." Winston Churchill "He has all of the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire. " Winston Churchill "One ought never to turn one's back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!" Winston Churchill "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. " Winston Churchill "Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals ... except the weasel." Homer Simpson "Here's to alcohol, the cause of—and solution to—all life's problems." Homer Simpson "The brain doesn't need blood. It just needs to be kept wet." Al Bundy "Soon our mouths will be alive with dead animals of every race and religion." Al Bundy "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6"

I attended Canandaigua Academy. This is the talk of the town obviously. Sad "A 17-year-old senior who shot and killed himself this morning in a bathroom at Canandaigua Academy had 30 rounds of ammunition and two explosive devices in his locker. Police said Thomas Kane used a sawed-off shotgun and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound but did not use the Molotov cocktail-type devices, two glass bottles filled with liquid and rags, that were in his locker." http://www.democratandchronicle.com/articl...WSFRONTCAROUSEL

I often find myself saying "I wish there were more impartial, even headed thinkers like Bishop". You are a breath of fresh air in a partisan world.
