  1. I am certainly not an animal rights fanatic, but anyone who gets gored to death while tormenting a frightened 1100 lb bull deserved what happened to them. A thinning of the herd if you will.
  2. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,530378...test=latestnews "He also accused politicians around the world of exploiting ignorance about the dangers of global warming to avoid difficult decisions." Al accusing others of exploiting ignorance about global warming...that's rich. I wonder if Al would have thought of a way to make millions from those that wanted to be Nazis but still live with a clear conscience...Nazi credits maybe?
  3. The Klassy Kat in Rochester is famous for its Chicken Cordon Blue Balls and the Kitty Litter Platter (variation of a garbage plate). You can't go wrong with some strip club clam strips either!
  4. I think many first time dog owners don't have any idea the commitment and $ it takes to own a well behaved, healthy dog. They see some dog show on tv and have to have the flavor of the month dog that may not fit their lifestyle. I certainly got a wake up call going from Cockers as our family dogs growing up to a high energy German Shorthair! It worked out well because he is an incredible dog, but it took some adjustment. He now has addisons disease and I have to take him for a $100 shot every month! (Well worth it to have him healthy and happy) He is also on steroids that make him drink alot and of course pee a lot. Luckily I have people that can let him out when I'm at work.
  5. Different breeds are more prone to be aggressive towards people or other animals. I'm sure with proper training you can overcome the tendencies a breed may have, but the fact remains that the tendencies are there. I have a German Shorthair Pointer that points and hunts all day and a Golden that couldn't care less what walks by. I have had to seperate my GSP from fights with other dogs that approach aggressively while my Golden doesn't look twice at them. Is that because I have subconciously treated them differently or could it be that they have different traits? My ex wife was bitten on the face by my friend's GS and I have other friends that cannot bring their GS over because they are afraid they will bite the other dogs. On the other hand, the trainer at the puppy class we attended had 2 GS rescues that were the best behaved dogs I have seen. If you are an experienced dog trainer any dog can be extremely well behaved. If you are a novice, there are breeds you should avoid. Nothing against GSs, but they were bred for different purposes.
  6. Sorry. I looked through the last few days of threads and thought I was first with this. In my defense, his title isn't very descriptive.
  7. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/205724-...ay-trade-coming We get Tommie Harris in the deal and give up a second and Josh Reed.
  8. Golden retriever! I've seen too many aggrssive and unpredictable German Shepards to trust them. I know it depends on the owner, but some breeds are just more likely to be aggressive especially if you are getting a dog that has unknown breeding. I currently own a Golden and a German Shorthaired Pointer and they are both great dogs. http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/ss22/je...pg?t=1245864573
  9. I never thought I would say this about a Man Show Juggy dancer, but she really is a disgusting person! Holy crap is she lucky she's hot. I might throw out the Playboy that she's naked in...OK I'm bluffing there.
  10. You don't pay them for sex...You pay them to leave!
  11. You see, a pimp's love is very different from that of a square.
  12. Yeah, we'll I really don't think we have time for a hand job, Joe.
  13. The sad thing is, that was probably the smartest person in PETA.
  14. I hate paying full price for preseason games as a season ticket holder. Cut it back to 2 preseason games and teams can schedule scrimmages if they need more evaluation time. I would like to see additional regular season games, but I don't think it will be approved by the players union.
  15. I use landscape wiring for my home theater that I bought at Home Depot. It came in a 50 foot bunch and looked like wire you would use for a lamp. I am using 12 guage, but I'm sure you could get away with thinner wire. I assume that since this wire is meant to be buried and run to landscape lighting that you would have no problems. It was pretty cheap too.
  16. So as long as somebody is not a threat to an officer they should be allowed to get back in their car and drive away? Does this apply to all people that are being arrested or do you have to be a certain age. He was trying to arrest her, she was trying to get away. What do you propose he should do?
  17. I heard Aaron Schobel proclaim he is one of the greatest whiffle ball players ever in addition to his football skills.
  18. Can't watch youtube at work, but thanks for your typical eloquent and tactful response.
  19. He is certainly free to stick to his guns with regards to the joke, and people are free to think he is an ass for doing that. I guess my point would be that Letterman is a shell of the guy that I remember watching ten years ago. I used to like him, now I find him unwatchable.
  20. So he references the fact that Sarah Palin and her daughter went to the Yankees game, jokes about ARod impregnating said daughter during the seventh inning stretch, but now wants everyone to believe he was talking about the daughter that was not at the Yankees game. Either he is really stupid and failed to do an ounce of research before his show, or thought anything goes because it was the evil Palins. Either way he should have apologized instead of giving a half ass explanation and offering to have them on his show to boost his sagging ratings.
  21. I think I saw them on Locked Up on MSNBC last night.
  22. I thought everyone loved a good rape joke at the expense of a 14 year old! http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/...-in-poor-taste/ His backtracking is much funnier than the joke itself. He is now claiming that he was talking about the 18 year old daughter (that wasn't even at the game). What a jackass. Edit: Political crap removed. Sorry
  23. Agreed. He looked like he showed more restraint than would have been given to a younger male criminal. She squares off and bumps him and he keeps his cool for a while. Would it have been any safer if he physically put her on the ground and handcuffed her? I would think you risk breaking a bone or injuring her more by wrestling her to the ground than by tasering her. I understand the sentiment about being very upset if this was your grandmother, but my grandmother would never act like such a moron. When you are told you are being arrested, you can't simply go back to your car and drive away no matter how old you are. Why do people think they can continue to escalate situations with cops and then complain when they get what they ask for? Some of the recent taserings are certainly unwarranted, but I don't think this is one of them. It is really funny how she was caught lying about not being combative to the cop. Good thing the unedited version of the tape was released.
