Woah: Bills interviewing Phillip Rivers for HC gig
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is smart and the Bills are clearly interviewing people that they feel could fill out a coaching staff in addition to any head coach candidate. When they hire Klint Kubiak, they will be already have a list of potential staff. They have the time to do this while they wait to formally interview Kubiak. -
The roster was not bad by any stretch of the imagination. The idea that McDermott worked miracles with a bunch of scrubs and Josh Allen is lazy and ignorant. QB - best in the league RBs - easily top 5 group. TEs - 3 deep top 5 group when healthy. Best blocking TE in the league. WRs - weak but Shakir is a top slot WR when used properly. O line - top 5 unit if not one of the best. DEs - Rousseau is tough to judge, Joey Bosa looked good at times. Hoecht looked dominant in his few plays DT - Ed Oliver looked great pre injury. Sanders and Walker have potential. Jones was OK. I think a new coach goes bigger at DT LBs - Milano was an all pro in '22 and looked good this season. Shaq Thompson played very well. Bernard had a disappointing season. CBs - Benford is excellent. Tre White played very well and was a great signing. Hairston is a 1st round pick and looks very promising. Taron had a down year but was an all pro and considered a top nickel corner before this season. FS - Cole Bishop is young and looks very good. SS - weak. Poyer was forced into a starting role and was serviceable. Out of all position groups, only boundary WR snd SS could be considered bad. Every team has a few weak spots. Beane can't control injuries. I think he did an admiral job assembling a roster. Especially considering the Diggs cap hit and a star QB contract. I was very disappointed that he did not sign a high end WR, but I'm not sure Brady would have used anyone like a true #1 anyway.

This may be the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen Bills fans do. And that is saying a lot! -
Bills interviewing Joe Brady for HC
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady very rarely took advantage of a team's weakness. For instance, the Bills played several teams that were known to be weak against TEs. Instead of loading up the game plan with TE plays, he would run the normal predictable offense. A good OC attacks weaknesses. Like when the Broncos immediately targeted Dane Jackson and Darnell Savage when they entered the game. -

I know all but 1 of the upcoming interviews are just formalities, but I would be incredibly disappointed if the Bills hired Brady. -
The Incessant rotation of defensive players drove me nuts. I am wondering if that is why none of our D tackles seem to perform at a high level consistently. Do other teams rotate lesser players in constantly? Pick your best players and let them play.

You mean this Mina Kimes? The one who had a school girl fit after the Bills drafted Allen? I could not possibly care any less about Mina Kimes' opinion.

Who cares. Do you really think the Bills are worried about losing candidates to the dolphins or raiders? The only job close to as desirable is the Ravens.

The vast majority of radio show callers are mouth breathing idiots that can't get anyone to listen to their ignorant rants face to face.
