  1. I'm not looking to see Favre here but he would be of much greater value as a player and an individual his team mates can count on than Shockey will ever be. Shockley is grossly over valued in my opinion.
  2. Promo I would be interested in a ride share, but need some details. I live in Ontario NY and take the Thruway from the Henrietta exit. Actually I had been taking the Rochester transit Bus for $15.00 but the FTC just crushed that said it was unfair competition.
  3. Been an avid bills fan almost from inception. Season ticket holder on and off(mostly on) since 67 and wouldn't have it any other way. Would have dearly loved to win one SB, but hey, win lose or draw there will be no other. Go BILLS!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I would like to attend, but don't need tickets. Where are you located? Is there parking there? I have been taking the RTS but might drive up for this one. I would also be interested in a T shirt if possible.
  5. The video was impressive but what really impressed me was 37 TD's in 14 games, and 6.3 YPC. I will be interested to see how that translates to the NFL. Great find!
  6. I don't like Sharkey and hope we are not interested. Who needs an underachieving lockerroom cancer?
  7. Signing a backup QB tells everyone interested that JP is moving and thus lowers his trade value. A vet back up can be added after JP is dealt. I believe He will be moved if possible to get something for him, rather than just letting him walk next year.

  9. You Flutie fans need to get over it. The man had one good season, his first, other than that he was mediocre to poor. I'll give him credit for bringing some excitement to the game, bjut he wasn't the answer. Just look at his stats. The only reason we made the playoffs that year was thanks to the "D" and Special teams.
  10. My philosophy is more is better. There are no guarantees with high picks(MW as an example but there are many others). As a GM I would try to unearth the diamonds in the rough so to speak. I think you see players after the first round have less emotional baggage, with a small drop in talent often times. Keep in mind Football is a "Team" game, not an individual one on one matchup.
  11. I would consider RW if it was the right price. I guess I have less of a problem with a little reefer than I do with the roids Merriman beefed up with. RW wasn't looking for a performance enhancer just a way to deal with his own limitations.
  12. I agree that D has to be a priority. And if memory serves me we got a pretty good back in the 2nd round a few years ago. See you at the HOF.
  13. While I think they are a little over zealous, I think back to when we drafted WM. There was a great deal of excitement as well. This deal may work out well for both parties if Willis returns to the back he was 3 years ago. I don't know what happened to him but he just wasn't here. I still remember that straight arm. It was lethal!!! and then it disappeared as did his effort. But it's time to move on. GO Buffalo!
  14. I agree. There is potentially more upside to the higher pick but also more risk. History shows many very good players have come from the 2nd and 3rd rounds, while a great many first rounders never achieve success. Sorry Big Mike!!!
  15. I believe you're missing the point. Gibson is and always has been a "tackle". The team is taking a look at him at guard to determine his versatility. Switching from tackle to guard is more than just getting up from the other side of the bed.
  16. I watched him in camp. The guy is a giant. If he can keep his weight down he could be a real asset.
  17. Whitner was slotted at 12, 13 or 14, so he went 8 BIG DEAL. It's all a guessing game when it comes down to it. If he turns out to be the safety we need then I'm happy! There are no guarantees.
  18. IMO the bills will draft a QB but on day 2. I think JP and Nall will fight it out but lets be honest about Nall's chances. He has been a career backup and GB was so impressed with him they used their #1 last year to take Rogers and let Nall walk.
  19. I agree. This guy has tremendous physical talents but I'm not sure he is going to be a reliable "go to guy". I've heard reports his blocking skill are marginal and his hands are suspect. Any one remember Perry Tuttle from Clemson??? Guy couldn't catch a cold.
  20. I agree. We need more picks in a draft that is light on top shelf talent but fat on good to very good. More bodies=more potential to find that diamond in the rough.
  21. If we draft Leinart, Lee evans will all but disappear. Leinart to me is a younger Kelly Holcomb. Makes good decisions but needs a running start to launch the long ball.
  22. I would like to see them trade down unless there is a player that is a can't miss prospect there at #8
