These times are not new as they started with the later times about ten years ago I think
I get your point but it's not like they pushed the times back just for today
Watkins or Robinson
Why would you want a CB at 9 when they already have McKelvin, Gilmore, and Robey as top three corners?
I'm sure they will take a CB early in this draft but not at 9 with so many other holes to fill
Couldn't disagree more
Who has the best line in the NFL? Most would probably say San Fran...how many former first round picks do they have on their line?
I could care less what the recent trend is, football is still football and you need to be able to run and protect the quarterback
Obviously not but counting on his knee to just heel when there is obviously a problem is a mistake IMO
What are you going to think if and when his knee flares up again next year bc we all know he won't be playing when it does
Besides Kiko what was different about the talent on defense? Pettine was the biggest addition made to the defense last year, don't know how anyone doesn't understand that
The run defense is obviously still a problem but overall the defense was improved which is exactly what you want
If the Bills lose Pettine I wouldn't mind seeing them hire Horton who was with Cleveland last year and Arizona before that
You do realize if the Bills didn't trade down last year they wouldn't have Kiko right?
I'm all for trading down and getting and extra second but not in favor of trading all the way down to 26
I don't think NFL head coaches are in the business of trading away good players to other teams with little in return just bc they are friends with the coach of the other team
The Pats always seem to be taking chances on players and just happens that two of them that worked out just happened to come from the same team.
Schiano made it to the NFL bc he turned around a program that most thought couldn't be turned around not bc the players he coached there got drafted
My concern is they are stupid enough to franchise Carpenter in fear of losing him and just let Byrd walk
Carpenter had a great year and I'd like to see him back but not if it takes a similar deal to what Chicago gave to Gould
Completely disagree with this. And How is Carpenter a journeyman kicker? He's played for two teams. It's also going to take more then an average salary on a one year deal to sign him after the year he had
I agree with this completely
You would think with all the talent there Detroit would hv been able to do better...then again I wouldn't want to move there no matter how good the job
I've been saying this for a few years as the kicking game has become too easy and made the game a little boring
I also agree that bringing them in a foot on each side would be enough and is a bigger change then it seems
The line for Extra points should be moved back at least to the 10 as they are way too automatic. The extra point, commercial break then kickoff which is usually not returned followed by another commercial break is way too much dead time
Why would the NFL rig it for the Chargers? If they were going rig it wouldn't it be for the Broncos or Pats?
If Chargers win today the playoffs become less interesting which is not what the NFL wants
I'm 3 for 3 this weekend and liked the Broncos in this game to cruise so can pretty much guarantee Chargers cover
