I'm judging him on everything I've seen from him on the field and I will be shocked if he leads this team to the playoffs much less ever be considered a good QB. His mechanics which he supposedly worked on all offseason are terrible, not accurate at all, doesn't appear to be able to read defenses, stares down his receivers, and seems to be playing at a much slower speed then everyone else. Queue the excuses that he's young, offensive line isn't giving him time, etc. I don't who gets more excuses, EJ or Gilmore.

Who on here isn't rooting for him? Just because many including me have serious doubts about him doesn't mean we are not rooting for him

Having a kickoff specialist is dumb but whoever else they would hv kept wouldn't even be playing. The kicker or punter should be handling kickoffs. I don't get how Cohen didn't make this team but I don't think having a kickoff specialist is the reason why he didn't

Apparently you never watched anything from the original cast or any of the Eddie Murphy skits I wouldnt pay too much attention to who the Bills punter and KO specialist are with the way things are going they won't be around long

What does Sammy getting hurt in the preseason have to do with how good the scouts are at evaluating talent? It's easy to name the misses but how about the hits? Cordy Glenn, Kiko, Jairius Byrd, Aaron Williams, all second round picks.

i know ppl were able to purchase sunday max online before last year without having DirecTv Been searching and reading on this a lot today and from what I can tell the online version will not be available this year and was replaced by the limited streaming option which is a joke. I will never understand why the NFL and sports in general go out of their way not to get their product in front of their fans. I refuse to get DirecTv or the PS3/4 version again so looks like might be Redzone for me

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, last year I was able to access the NFL Sunday Ticket App as part of my purchase of Madden 25 and was under the inpression I could purchase this myself without being a DirecTv subscriber. I am not referring to the new streaming service which I know I cant get but the NFL Max (Online) which I believe has been avilable for a few years now. Is the Sunday Ticket Max (Online) no longer available for purchase to customers who dont have a DirecTv account? I just tried a few links and everything wants me to signup for DTV which Im not doing and really dont want to have to get it through the PS3 again bc that was horrible for the first two years.

what does the Cutler deal have to do with their defense being bad? its not like it was a Hershel Walker type deal and its been more then a few years since that trade went down there is no issue with having a mix of young and old in a defense as long as those players can play

Hackett and Marrone have no idea what they want to do. The offense is built to be a power running team which makes perfect sense considering a young extremely raw QB but for some reason these guys want to run a fast paced offense which didnt work last year and hasnt looked any different this year. Everyone keeps saying they havent even go into the playbook yet...what are they going to say when the offense looks exactly the same week 1 and how it has looked since last preseason?

if TJ is going to be cut why would Washington trade for him? Does Washington need Spiller? They would want more then a 3rd for Cousins who might actually be their best QB so I dont see them trading him anyway

I have serious concerns with EJ and Hackett I'm starting ot question this teams practice habits bc i get the impression they do not practice at anything close to game speed bc watching them makes me think everything is happening too fast for them

way to go out on a limb there considering this is what every team's gameplan was vs the Bills last year and for the last decade plus actually which has worked well for them so i dont see any reason why they would do anything different

not a good comparison for obvious reasons, those super bowl teams were veteran teams that didnt need the practice...this team looks like it could use another 4 preseason games

Sorry but that's not correct. A good running game and play action make any QBs life a lot easier, young or not.

Did you watch the games last year or do you like many others base your opinion solely on statistics? Setup play action? Most Bills fans were screaming for play action bc he simply didn't use it enough which is dumb considering they are a running team with a young QB. His play calling is very predictable with no imagination calling same couple plays over and over. The young QB excuse is just that an excuse. How many times did he call the shotgun draw over guard last year which most of the time didn't amount to much especially on 3rd and 1 instead of just lining up in the I formation and pounding it? He also loves calling low percentage plays that just never worked. Yes you have to take shots but why keep calling those plays when they don't work.

EJ needed and needs to play as much as possible in these preseason games bc it's obvious whatever they are doing in camp isn't working

My thought is a third QB is more important then a backup who will never see the field and isn't any better then a street free agent or a practice squad player available at anytime throughout the season.

Agreed This gets so overblown every time a team signs a former player of a future opponent.

Quinn was never regarded as a can't miss QB. I didn't care for him coming out of college but at this point he might be worth a look. I'd still rather see them trade for Ponder though
