  1. Dang, I forgot about Humphries. Just as well. Desean or no Desean, I still think it's the best group he's had top to bottom.
  2. I've always liked Arians and he has gotten the absolute best out of every QB he's had. If anyone can transform Winston it is Arians. I bet Arians also convinces Jackson to hang around. It may possibly be the best receiving group he's ever coached as well with Evans, Jackson, Godwin, OJ Howard, and Brate. The offense should be sick, especially if he finds his type of RB. Bowles to coach that defense will be interesting as well. They have a good draft or two and this team will be right there in the NFC.
  3. Just reported by Schefter. https://mobile.twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1082763084161179648 Word is that Bowles will be his DC as well.
  4. Being in VA and just outside of Richmond it is all Redskins, all the time around here. Richmond is where they have their training camp. I hate the flippin Redskins.
  5. Unless Allen loses his mind and goes Mahomes next year I don't believe we have to worry about Daboll
  6. I think Harbaugh stays for at least one more year to see if he can beat Ohio St. without Urban Meyer. If he loses to them again next year with Day at the helm I think he's out.
  7. Either he will win or he will flame out quickly. You will be able to tell if he is in over his head by week 4. He may turn out to be a better coach than most of us think and actually construct an offense to utilize David Johnson as well as Josh Rosen. I can't blame them for stepping away from the NFL retread group at all though.
  8. Yes, he and Allen are both young with both having work to do. If we are talking about which QB you would rather have leading your team? I take Allen every time. They both are gifted athletically and can take off running with the ball, but Jackson is clearly the more electric of the two. I just see Allen as the more talented QB prospect for the future. Jackson can be Atlanta version Vick-esque throwing for 2,500-3,000 yards a season while rushing for 800 if he can stay healthy. That the absolute most imo. He's kind of frail at this point though and I think the NFL hits will take their toll. I just don't see him ever being the type of QB who wins you games with his arm. I see Allen as being a QB who can succeed from the pocket once we get the OL fixed and upgrade the WR group. I see Allen winning us plenty of games with his arm the better the pieces are around him. Of course all of this is just opinion and we'll have to see how the next 2-3 years play out.
  9. Hakeem Butler, Parris Campbell, and Zach Gentry (TE).
  10. Jackson is a proven commodity in this league. I would be glad to have him along the DL if he's not overestimating his own value.
  11. As already noted, this wasn't the SB. The ghost of wide right won't be exorcised until the Bills win a SB by a made last second FG or whatever.
  12. The Irish were a good football team this year. Oklahoma was a good football team this year. Ohio St. was a good football team this year. Georgia was a good football team this year. Texas was a good football team this year. Alabama was a great football team this year. Clemson was the best football team this year and it wasn't even close. If it was 4, 8, 16, I think we would have still seen the same result.
  13. Seeing Clemson dominate Alabama the way they did makes me feel not as bad about how they whooped up on my Irish. Book hits a couple of open guys for TD's he could have had and doesn't turn the ball over then it would have been a closer game. Clemson still would have won though.
  14. A faster, but lesser of a passer version of Tyrod. Lamar is young and may improve though. He has a lot of work to do.
  15. Duke Williams looks like he has hands made of glue, tracks the ball well, high points fairly well, and makes the tough catches in traffic. I hope his game translates to where he can be a solid contributor for the Bills.
  16. Absolutely. That defense is gonna have Brady seeing ghosts next week. We will see how the mighty have fallen and Rivers will make the AFC Championship game.
  17. Great game. Tough loss for the Bears. Parkey needs to look up Norwood for advice.
  18. People, pundits, personalities, and reporters talk about Allen's "accuracy issues", but rave about Lamar Jackson who has only thrown for more than 200 yards like once or twice? His issues are on full display today. Make him stay in the pocket, play QB, and pressure him then he is a worse version of Tyrod.
