I would love to have him to round out the Top 4 of our Defense but not at the price it would cost to get him here.

Did you ever go to school with anyone famous?
BillsPride12 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
We didn't attend school at the same time but former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Rashad Evans went to the same high school as me. We were off by a few years but his brother was in school at the same time I was and I knew people that knew him. I have met him once but it was years after high school was over. When he won the UFC title it was a very big deal in my area. -
Brick-By-Brick, the NFL Losing Me As A Fan

I think these are fair and valid points, the biggest problem is modern pop culture is truly at an all-time low. The world has changed dramatically over the last decade. Maybe that or we are just becoming old geezers. Makes me think of this spot on quote from Grandpa Simpson -
I've knocked off a lot of sports stadiums and cities on mine. Stadiums: Lambeau Arrowhead Wrigley Field Fenway Park Soldier Field MSG United Center Cities: NYC Chicago Boston Las Vegas Montreal New Orleans Denver Washington DC

Some people buy up season tickets strictly to resell them to make a profit(and yes those are not the true fans of the team) but I'm sure that is the case in every market.
-
It sucked seeing that many Bengals fans there but that's also just the nature of the resale market. If that game was played in Cincinnati there would have been just as many Bills fans invading their turf.
-
Yes because the Minnesota Vikings have won so many Super Bowls!

Good win for the Sabres last night. They did what they needed to do against a bad team. The big guns(Tage,Tuch,Cozens) got on the score sheet. Now let's keep that momentum going.

I hear ya. I know I am 100% out once the new stadium opens but I was hoping to finish out the ride at the current stadium but I just don't know if it's going to be worth it if prices keep going up until then. I am already on the fence about wanting to cancel for this upcoming season but will probably end up staying put for now. If this was the last year or if there were only a couple years left at the current stadium I'm sure I would just say screw it and keep it going but I don't know if I have it in me to go through this for another 3 years.

Cheers Howard! Well deserved....wish we could've won a Super Bowl for him -
Had this conversation with some co-workers recently and figured it would be a fun topic to bring to the boards. Me: -See the Bills win a Super Bowl -See the Sabres win a Stanley Cup -Do a cross country trip(would want to do it the right way though, take my time and only have a rough game plan of must see things and kind of explore as I went along) -Get a Hole in One ⛳ -Play 100 golf courses(then once that is reached, will change to 150...then 200 etc) -U.S. cities I need to visit: San Francisco, Seattle(I have already been to all of the other big ones I've always wanted to visit) These are just some of my main ones, I'm sure I will probably add some more to the thread at some point but definitely curious to see what other people have on there lists.

I agree but I don't think Adams is done building his team yet. I like a lot of the skill players we have acquired so far and the fact Adams is having conversations with a Veteran and team leader like Okposo about whether we are getting pushed around too much makes me feel optimistic it won't be completely ignored as he continues to mold this team. But we will see

I didn't watch the game last night but it was apparent in the Calgary game that this team still really struggles against more physical teams. We need to add some muscle to this team. Post all-star break the games start to transition into more of a playoff mode style.
-
Agreed. There's no excuses to lose 4 straight games when you are in the playoff hunt. They are pissing on their own leg at this point. But I'm glad I was sleeping during the game last night.

Yep...we're all addicted at this point -
That's an old school player right there. Before my time but I am familiar with what he was about. RIP

Won a measly hundred bucks on a touching square. Meh.

I agree about the overall presentation of the game nowadays but unfortunately from a marketing standpoint those of us old school fans are no longer the demographic they are catering to. Times change, things evolve, and we are getting older unfortunately. But it's still football being played at the highest level and the game was great minus the holding BS at the end. I miss the old NFL for sure and wish we could go back to those days but it's not how the world works unfortunately. -

https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/01/23/bizarre-kidnapping-case-tied-to-super-bowl-squares-pool Figured this would be a good place to share this BIZARRE story. This happened right here in WNY a couple years ago. I didn't even know about this but this happened at one of my co-worker's Husbands company and she was telling us the story the other day. Her husband was interviewed for this Sports Illustrated article. -
NFL Honors award winners (Daboll is COTY, Mahomes is MVP)

Especially since Hurts should've won it over Mahomes this year
