  1. Depends on who we value and see as a bigger need. If, IF a few of those bodies fall, then that would be a decent move to grab an additional mid rounder.
  2. Bills sweatshirts were acceptable church attire when I was living back home
  3. I could care less if it's a man or woman reporting as long as they don't write like they're 6 years old.
  4. Can rename the whole area "Pegula Plaza" or "Pegula Place"...
  5. Well I found this blurp from the official website/announcement of his passing: "Right now all of us are absorbing this tremendous personal loss. We are performing our day-to-day functions as we normally would. We understand our fans curiosity in wanting to know what the future holds for our organization and that will be addressed in the near future. But at this time, we are committed to honoring the life and legacy of Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., the man who delivered NFL football to Buffalo." I guess I take that as in there is some sort of plan in place which I hope is good news, but honestly right now I'm still sad at the passing of Mr Wilson... he has brought so much to Buffalo and all of WNY... my entire life as a sports fan has been dominated by the fact that he brought AND KEPT the Bills here. Win or lose, I still have NFL football to be passionate about and I owe it all to him, his family and the passion to keep the Bills here. I'm praying the Bills remain in the only city they should ever call home.
  6. Stunned and saddened... RIP Ralph, thanks for all you've done with this franchise and this fanbase!
  7. Honestly, I don't think they should have lost a draft pick per se... what was the punishment? A fine for Tomlinson?
  8. The NFL doesn't truly punish the "elite" franchises for cheating. Even when they do it's peanuts for what the actual infractions were. I'd take a SB win or two for an asterisk and/or a loss of a draft pic. Ridiculous.
  9. No reason to get into a pissing match over what was the better move (keeping Byrd or getting Spikes/Graham/Dixon), but one thing I do like about these 3 new additions is that they should bring a winning attitude and respect with them... this Bills team has about all but forgotten what it's like to EXPECT to win ballgames. I'm hoping that this new influx of attitude rubs off in a great way!
  10. It's ignorant to give a "rating" to a GM that's been on the job less than a year, and really... to try to hammer him for going for a QB in the first round when we've been in dire straits for one for years is ludicrous. And to those people saying we reached for EJ... how in the hell do you know if we woulda got him later on in the draft? We've heard many scenarios where 2-3 other teams had him rated ahead of Geno and were going to grab him at the end of the first/start of the second round. Now if Whaley didn't grab a QB, then you should bust his ass a bit, but he went for it, and you just never know how these kids will turn out. All in all Kudos for Whaley and staff in their first draft year; many pieces to the puzzle were acquired. Let's see what FA (I don't expect much in this years FA) and the Draft brings. I hated to lose Byrd, but in the end it was the better move to not sign him for that kind of scratch, I only wish we got something in return.
  11. The Bills Offense still sucks and will continue to suck until proven otherwise. Until then I say keep the better FG kicker because the Bills need the reliability when the O stalls in the oppositions side of the field. You won't need a guy for touchbacks when you can't score a TD or a FG!
  12. Wish Carpenter was kicking for us in SB XXV....
  13. In reality... for individuals this isn't a "business" move, it's a feel good move, an emotional move. You'd do it because of the sense of loyalty and passion that we as Bills fans have in spades. For some it's a form of national recognition, to some it's feeling a bit more relevant in the sports world... the NFL is THE sports league in America and there's only 32 teams playing each year... Buffalo is barely a top 75 city population wise in the US... that means 40 more cities larger than Buffalo don't to claim that they play on sports largest stage... to some the NFL means nothing, that the Bills have been hard to root for (esp the past 14 years), but to many, they cherish the fact that they have the ability to do so. If the Bills move... the NFL is all but dead to me. Yeah I could watch games, but I'd have zero emotional attachment. Some might even look at that as a blessing, but just like any other passion I'd rather suffer through some of that and then get some great feelings too then not have any at all. I'll take the ups and downs than the flat-line. I've not lived in Buffalo since I joined the AF 25+ years ago, but I'd do what I could to support anything that would help keep them there. Do you see what Seattle looks like today? Do you remember our glory years? There's only one way to ever get that feeling again, and that's to HAVE a team that's your own... can you ever imagine what you'd feel if the Bills win a SB? What the city/region would do and how they'd feel? This to me is an investment that someday... SOMEDAY we can all have that feeling.
  14. True, but what else does your tax money fund? I'm sure most people aren't "fans" of those things either. Like people that pay taxes that fund schools and they have no children.
