  1. He looked football quick to me in those highlights. Speed is sometimes an overrated aspect of a players actual abilities. I'll take a smart hard nosed football player that's always around the ball and in the play, than a faster kids that is clueless half the time.
  2. The Comeback game wasn't a sellout NOT because of the weather, but because the week before the Bills got SMOKED by Houston in he last regular season game of the year... and in that game we had Kelly and Thurman. Kelly was knocked out of that game and was ruled out of the playoff game. Biscuit wasn't going to be playing in the playoff game either. I think many fans didn't think we could win and saved their $$$ plain and simple.
  3. The O-line can only go as far as the strength/talent level goes, and what the coaches do with the play calling to get the most out of them. Your game plan/play calling MUST match the level of talent that you have. That goes for all positions, so EVERYTHING rests on the shoulders of Marrone/Hackett/Schwartz/Crossman. Lord help us...
  4. This is an amazing fact due to the fact that we've not had a winning record since the last millennium!
  5. Great outlook, but you could have stopped at your first point. If EJ improves, every other facet of this team improves.
  6. I have a #83 Jersey already... it's perfectly fine with REED on the back.
  7. Not true... that only applies to Bills players... Richie Lucas, Scott Norwood, and Rob Johnson for example. However #11 has also been worn by the greatest Buffalo Sabre ever (Gilbert Perreault), the greatest Buffalo Brave ever (Bob McAdoo) and greatest Buffalo Bandit ever (John Tavares).
  8. Lol... sweet.. I'm sitting in a class and responded to the OP so I didn't get into the complete research of the trade value chart. Much appreciated!
  9. Bills are pimping the fact that they like OB Jr. San Fransisco likes him too... SF trades us their 1st rd pick #30, 2nd rd pick #56 and their 2nd 3rd rd pic #92 to move up to #9 and take OB Jr. That gives the Bills 5 of the top 92 picks in the draft. Look for them to grab: 1st Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State 2nd Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech OR Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington 2nd Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State OR Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU 3rd JuWuan James, OT, Tennessee OR Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama 4th Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin This is just a thought of what I can see (would love to see) happening!
  10. Scroll down to the Kentucky Derby pic... is that... is that Thurman Thomas in the middle of that Patriot debacle?!?!?!?!?!?!?
  11. The Bills should land 2 of these players... 3 if we get lucky!
  12. Shouldn't you at least wait to see who _______________________ is gonna be first?
  13. Coaching a baseball game Thursday from 8-10... at least I'll have my cell phone!
  14. First things first... Atlanta was coming off of a 13-3 year when they drafted Jones and they were 9-7, and 11-5 in the 2 years prior to that. They were CLOSE, so grabbing that one "key" player would make sense... their thought process was that their 2 first rounders that they were giving up for him were gonna be around #30... TOTALLY different that picking in the top 10 like we do almost every year. Secondly... did they give up too much? This link questions the results... http://thebiglead.com/2013/10/10/did-the-falcons-give-up-too-much-for-julio-jones-in-the-2011-draft-day-trade/
  15. For the love of all that's holy! We still have too many holes to fill to give up that much to move up a few picks. There's still a lot of value on the board at 9 and we can go a bunch of different ways.
  16. Please... enough of the trading UP nonsense. This team has a lot of holes to fill/upgrade. One position at the expense of 3 others ISN'T going to help. There will most likely be a solid/impact player there at #9. If the guy/position you want isn't there, then trade DOWN a few (of course if you can) and fill/upgrade more of the holes we have. Who is this savior that people are willing to break the draft bank for??
  17. That game wasn't a KILLING as you're saying... it was 28-21 Detroit LATE in the 4th qtr when Kelly threw a Pick 6 making the final 35-21. Kelly completed 29 of 35 passes. His 82.85% completion percentage was a team record and also a personal record. I don't remember a ton about the game, but I do know we trailed the entire game.
