  1. Thanks for sharing...
  2. That does seem to be apparent with his progressions since week 2. Clogging the throwing lanes has been a good defensive game plan, given Roman's determination to make him a pocket passer. Perhaps today's performance (and the game film it produced) will back the defense off the line a bit more and open things up for TT... I'd love to know the percentage of balls Wilson throws from a conventional pocket...
  3. Marcus Mariota was 1-of-7 with an interception passing 10+ yards downfield Sunday. Since going 5-of-5 on such passes in his debut, Mariota has completed 41.9% attempts thrown 10+ yards downfield. (Per ESPN Stats and Info.)
  4. Agreed. It's the equivalent of a fumble, catch/no catch, "did he have two feet down?" situation, IMO. The competition committee has to look at this in the off season...
  5. Especially when they run picks like that everytime he's split outside...
  6. The two worst called games (Pats, NYG) were crews headed by rookie refs. I'm onboard with teams' getting 1-2 replay challenges per game for these kind of situations. The NFL could just sell more commercial time as well.
  7. I think he did for today. Too bad he'll probably crawl out from under a rock again soon enough...
  8. Nobody blocks 7-8 men in the box. TT's inability to back the defense off the line was a big part of the running woes...
  9. The ref thought he led with the helmet. The replay showed it was his shoulder. Another "I thought I saw" guess by the officials...
  10. 7 targets (4 Harvin, 3 Clay)...1 combined catch for 7 yards. Not good enough...
  11. There's the refs we know and love...
  12. Odd, we're not hearing from the OP about what (if) he thinks now...
  13. It's bliss, baby...
  14. Clay, Harvin and Woods combined had 2 catches for 13 yards. How and the hell does that even happen....
  15. Yep. Tried to get a sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwich the other day (the only breakfast item I can stand at McD's) and it wasn't available. Told the drive through person "...there sure seem to be a lot of asterisks on this all day thing" and it confused the hell out of her...
  16. Personally, I vote for robotic fans...
  17. TSW official motto....SDS should © it.
  18. Making an ass of one's self is an art form art form around here...
  19. So would 90% of the people on this board. Unfortunately, the 10% who clog the plumbing with 'insights' like these fill up more than 16 pages of 'manage ignore user' space...
  20. The Germans bombed Pearl Harbor as well....
  21. I take this piece to be from the "rational, reflective Fred"...not the "angry, hurt Fred" in that earlier interview (almost like a Direct TV ad!). He acknowledges that he was upset at first, but is now accepting that "this is the reality of the NFL" now that his emotions aren't so immediate and raw. I'm very happy to have this first person account from Fred rather than that filtered story--which at the time didn't sound at all like the Fred we knew and remembered so fondly...
  22. I didn't think he was calling him out. More like, this is how it went down...
  23. Isn't that what he's doing? "Despite the struggles, I feel fortunate as ever. As NFL players, we get to play a game for a living and we make a good living doing what we do, and that allows us to provide an amazing life for ourselves and our families. I understand that. Traveling, and sometimes relocating, is just a part of the job, and that means being away from your family, sometimes for long stretches. It comes with the territory."
  24. Thanks. I always get a good chuckle when some posters call other people 'weird'...
  25. No need to waste my time, even for laughs. This thread is humorous enough, as is...
