  4. Let's get rid of the players while we're at it...
  5. Easiest way to fix it is to make it eligible for a coaches challenge...
  6. Tom, I know you're smart enough to know where the Referee stands on each play to ask a rhetorical question like that...
  7. I'm sure he didn't, since that area of the field isn't his responsibility...
  8. Yep. If all it took was blitzing, Brady would be nothing more than a high rent version of Nathan Peterman...
  9. I can only imagine what his super power is....
  10. The NFL could care less if football fans watch the SB. Especially older, MAGA ones. They're marketing to a younger, more diverse demographic that watches a limited amount of football and is more likely to tune in for the commercials than the game. That's what advertisers are paying for and that's who the NFL is thinking of with it's halftime show.
  11. He wouldn't. Just because he's from here doesn't make him a Bills fan....
  12. McDermott ran the same way with Carolina when he was a DC, so I suspect he's OK with Frazier game planning on that. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/12/14236950/sean-mcdermott-buffalo-bills-head-coach-4-3-defense-all-22 https://buffalonews.com/2017/09/01/analyzing-mcdermott-d-front-seven-makes-breaks/ "McDermott blitzes enough to keep offenses honest. He blitzed (five or more rushers) between 24 percent and 28 percent the past four years, by Football Outsiders stats. That ranked between 17th and 24th. It's not a gambling defense, like Wade Phillips, Gregg Williams and Todd Bowles prefer."
  13. Yep. Gotta love those Belichick coaching tree guys... https://www.silverandblackpride.com/2019/1/15/18184001/colts-fire-offensive-line-coach-who-mistreated-raiders-denzelle-good-after-death-of-his-brother
  14. https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/NFL-ANNOUNCES-HEAD-COACHES-FOR-2018-EAST-WEST-SHRINE-GAME.aspx "Our partnership with the NFL has once again given us two excellent head coaches," said Harold Richardson, executive director of the East-West Shrine Game. "Jonathan Hayes and Bobby Johnson are both outstanding coaches and certainly up-and-coming NFL head coaching prospects. It is not only a great opportunity for them, but it is also a great learning experience for our players as they prepare for their NFL careers."' At the conclusion of the NFL regular season, teams nominated deserving assistant coaches who were reviewed by a panel that includes NFL Football Operations staff, East-West Shrine Game leadership and two members of the NFL's General Managers Advisory Committee. Once the head coaches are selected, each head coach then fills his 12-person staff from among other NFL assistant coaches nominated by the clubs, a key job requirement for head coaches at every level of the sport.
  15. His body's breaking down and I'd hate to be him in about 20 years. He's going to be a mess...
  16. He'd *itch no matter who was hired...
