Thank you I was getting ready to post my thoughts on Lewis. Look at the seasons after Goose and Adams left. Ray wanted out of Bmore due to his production severely declining and the fact that he thought Bmore was not protecting HIM. He couldnt roam the country side free of blockers anymore until they got Gregg and Ngata. He is a good player but grossly over rated in my opinion. And I dont care that he dances his way on to the field and quotes the Gladiator movie before every game. He isnt even the 2nd or 3rd best player on that D. Sorry just my opinion.

I left Buffalo when I was 6 yrs old. Really had no choice my family left so ipso facto I ended up here. You cant fault people for living outside of WNY. The majority of my family still lives there. I have an Uncle who is struggling to hold on to his job in the Ford plant and one whos concrete business is slowing do to poor economic times. I love the city and the people there. I love to visit and gain 5lbs in a matter of 1 week. I come here to chat and mostly be a wise ass. Plus you all are a lot more plugged into the Bills being so close. Rarely do I take a serious stance on anything here. I enjoy the board it relaxes me. Like fishing.

Good post Bill. Glad you brought this up. I have the ticket and every Sunday my father and brother in laws all get together and watch the games. I always cook and we just kick back and have a good time. The price of say $30 in groceries or pizzas compared to 4 guys drinking and eating for 3 1/2 hours at a sports bar would come to 200-300 a week (3 Irishmen and 1 Italian, do the booze math). Having the ticket and doing the home thing is the way too go. Put it this way My father in law is a Miami season ticket holder (more for business reasons) and he is always at my place by 1200 to set up for the games. He just gives the tix away. Going to the games and buying drinks and food inside would cost and easy $200 not including tailgating. If you can afford the ticket, get it. Who ever invented it should get the Nobel Prize in my opinion.

To be 100% honest if I still lived in Buffalo I would be a season ticket holder. I live in Ft. Lauderdale and would kill to be able to attend every home game, but I settle for 1 a year and of course when the Bills travel here. I wish I could sit around a BS with the same crowd every other Sunday and actually enjoy some "seasonal" weather. You guys that are fortunate enough to live driver 9 iron from the stadium to see your favorite team are lucky in my eyes. I take them when I can get them, whether they are in Tampa, Jax or Miami I am there. Maybe one day I will have the time and money to attend every home game but consider your selves blessed you get to watch your favorite team and cheer with home town fans from all age groups. Now I can understand if financially you are not going to re-up your tix, the economy sucks and what have you. I left Buffalo over 20 years ago and am asked till this day how can you still be a fan after being separated for so long from the city, especially with the drought we have been in. All I can say is I am a Bills fan and could not would not root for any other team. ESPECIALLY MIAMI. Folks we are like a fraternity, we had our glory days, we lived it up...now we are on a lengthy probation but sooner or later this thing will get turned around. They have too. How can you turn your back on something that brings you so much joy and so much pain in a matter of seconds? I know I can't. Happy New Year All!!! Hopefully '09 is our time. (hey it almost rhymes)

Did I say grab him in the first? And the worst player on our OL is with out a doubt Derrick Dockery. He should be ashamed to get his pay check every week. Do not be surprised if this guy gets axed. He looked absolutely terrible this year. Gets beat by mediocre talent constantly.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I got a 50 in plasma from my in laws. Was in total shock.......still am I think. Going to shop for surround sound stuff now. Any recommendations?
