Let's go with the Jets gameplan!

Regardless of playoff scenarios, that game matters. Even if they are eliminated. I think Marrone needs to have his team make a decent showing against the P*ts. Marrone needs to show (maybe just me, but I think others who are more important) that he can take the field with them without looking like the Washington Generals. kj

And this is my big beef with this staff. The team beats most of the teams it should but loses just about all the big games it needs. And it continually shows up smallest when it is time to stake a claim or make a statement. Especially against New England. kj

Is it the offseason already?

I think the call is somewhat debatable, though I lean strongly toward going for it on 4th and 2. As others have said, doubtful that you are going to get the ball 2x in that short time frame. But more interesting to me is the dramatic change in Marrone's approach to 4th down. How many times has he gone for it on 4th down in the past few games in situations where earlier in the season he was punting without hesitation? And then defending the decisions in strong words at the podium after the game? He has changed how he approaches these critical situations. And for the better, for the most part. On the one hand it's good that he saw the error of his ways. On the other, it's bad that he had to have that error pointed out to him. kj

There were a few tweets about the Robey penalty that said the refs got the call right and the # wrong. It was AW who was making illegal contact and not Robey.

It's okay, they always play down to their competition. Expect a close game. kj

I got us in as the 6th seed at 10-6. I used the power ranking as the default. I have us losing to GB, but winning the rest. Then Cin loses to Pitts in week 14. KC loses to Pitts in week 16. Cin loses to Pitt again in week 17. Then we travel to PIttsburgh for the 1st game. By far the most unlikely piece of the scenario is our winning against both DEN and the Asterisks. kj
