  1. NE givng only 10.5, Easiest $ you'll ever make.
  2. You mean they dont consider Tight End to be a crucial adddition...
  3. Rhodes is a VETERAN with a RING. Bills are cheaping out as usual. Wait unitl Freddy J. gets nicked and Xavier Omon wiffs on a few blocks and drops a few passes when bullets are flyin for real.
  4. I agree. Playing "up" to 250 lbs for DE not doable. Hed be hurt all the time.
  5. This thread sounds like sour grapes and after the fact justification. Most players in the NFL have this me-first, show me the $$ attitude. Can they play, especially at a critical position? Fans dont have to work with him or pay him. I believe this is the Bills cheaping out on a proven player at a position of need. More running backs + less proven linemen = losing formula. The Eagles fundamentally understand this. It simply doesnt matter if he was an UDFA years ago or what his Wonderlic score is. His trade worth isnt a draft day formula, he's proven himself. How long do you have to be in the workforce before they stop asking what college you went to and your GPA? This is a major step backwards.
  6. That is exactly why watching Ngata plug up the middle of the Raven's D kills me while Whitner sits at home lamenting their under achieving team.
  7. I'll opt for insane when your conclusion doesn't match your analysis that over half our starters should really be "back-ups" and thats just for the defense.
  8. Agreed. Lets get the monkey of our backs. If you gave me 8-8 and finally a win over the Cheatriots, at the beginning of the season I think I would have been OK with that scenario. The 5-1 start screwed that up.Id love to see us pull out ALL the stops to make that happen, trick plays, onside kick to start the game, balls to the wall you name it. I have a hunch Crypt Keeper is going to play it close, conservative, boring and do enough to get out coached by Bellichick again.
  9. Don-a-hoe = JP Losman. I'll throw in Mike Williams for flavor. Nuff said.
  10. Surely there must be a safety they can reach for in the 1st round?
  11. Then he should be fired just for that idiocy. We'd have a better chance with Jackson running the wildcat formation the whole game.
  12. He can back up Todd Collins...
  13. Good post, and I agree 100% tht this is a stupid question. It seems clear to me that the rest of this season is now a referendum on whether TE is capable of being our QB of the future. This Losman debate is over and this thread is its spasming death throes. Thats why its so vital for TE to take his injury week and then come out and finish strong. I want to know if this 1988 all over again and we have a youg nucleus to build on. I happened to beieve the NFL QB sophomore jinx is real as its happened so many times before. Aside from knowing what we have in TE, I think fans should feel good about hanging their hats on 1 of 2 outcomes this season: A. A 1 game (or possibly 2) improvement over last year to .500 (because c'mon who really expected much else?) OR B. Same record as last year but beating NEw England and finally getting rid of our glass ceiling
  14. Anyone have a link for today's game? Does Justin TV have something every week? Thanks for some help.
  15. Excellent idea! Completely destroy the confidence of a young smart QB who we're grooming as the future for a guy that's on his way out of town next season in order to get one lousy win. Not to mention that the guy on his way out of town COULD have been in the same position if Mualrkey didnt torpedo HIS confidence and career. Edwards is a YOUNG QB, and its been proven time and time again a young qb's best friend is a running game and a go-to tight end for balance. Get Josh Reed back (essentially Trent's tight end in my mind) and 25 carries and 100+ yards from Marshawn = win. The head that needs to roll is Schonerts if anyone for getting way ahead of himself in terms of game planning at this stage of Trents development- help your young QB out!
  16. I'm also sick of hearing that the wide receiver position needs 3 years to develop. I live in Philly and the Eagles' Jackson, also a rookie, has almost become the go-to receiver here.
