If we play the same soft, zone coverage, with little or no pass rush, Cassell and Welker are going to pick us apart. Their offensive line is very good. With nothing to lose, we've got to gamble defensively if we're going to have a chance. Given Jauron's history in this regard, I'm nervous.

Upset or confused? Face it. The Bills were an average team this year. Before the season started, did you really think they would be a playoff team this year? I certainly didn't. Then they rip off a bunch of wins against what turns out were marginal opponents. They'll end up 7-9 or 8-8. We're just all upset with the way they got there. But at least they aren't laying down and mailing it in.

While we're waiting for the 3Q, I have a pet peeve that I want other opinions on: I hate when a commentator says a guy was "trying to do too much" in giving an extra effort to get more yardage or something, that resulted in a turnover. We all complain when players don't "give 110%", then people come up with this double-standard. Irks me to no end....
